I just noticed something. The dorm students, the preps (Tybalt), the alphas, and the DIKs are being attacked. The only ones not being attacked are the nerds (logical, since Magnar is probably the mastermind) and the HOTs. Have you thought about it so that the nerds and HOTs work together?
They "attacked" and decided to get rid of fraternities, who caused troubles for them in any way in the past. Whether it's physical bullying (Alphas), humiliation and jokes (DIKs), or vain and narcissistic Preps who consider themselves superior. While the HOTs didn't do anything wrong to the Betas. And it's sorority, after all. But... there could be a "traitor" among the HOTs and the Sarah is the most suspicious person there for a lot of reasons:
- Nerds somehow managed to get the Chad & Troy secret... while the only ones who is aware are Sarah & Mel.
- Sarah encouraged Ashley to dump Antony for Derek and the next day Alphas (Antony) got a letter from Betas about Derek and Ashley fucked.
- Magnar already knows that Chad might not fall for the bait, because he talked out things with MC. While they talked in the library, we haven't seen Magnar around, but we also know that - 1. Sarah is ALWAYS up to date with ALL the news; 2. She is a friend of Mel, who, in turn, is on good terms with Chad and Troy (well, they kinda both, but Sarah can be a "rat" rather than a friend here).
- Finally, one of HOT girl working for Betas maybe a reason why Betas are not getting rid of them too (it's a far fetched assumption, however).
Betas needed a person with access to the DIKs mansion to do a physical tasks at least, like installing the camera(s), etc, who would not arouse suspicion. Since the male nerds are not allowed in there, we also know that the jocks and the Preps have nothing to do with this, and moreover, the Betas is all over of setting them all against each other. Another candidate is someone of female nerds. Sally... her, saying that Magnar, Ron, etc started to avoiding her and almost "banned" her can easily be a made up legend to get MC trust. But I'd still bet on Sarah. Sally is not that good in playing "roles", have issues with anger, etc. It's probably a red herring from DPC as it was done with Nick. On the other hand it can be somebody "neutral" - like a random guy from dorms which is partying with DIKs and doesn't look suspicious.
