I haven't played this game in a long time, stopped when the season made you chose a girl and thought I would come back to the game. Can you tell me if its just the mc and the one girl or does the game still open up the main girls/others in thr story as it evolves? Curious if its worth my time to come back after so long. You can play a solo MG path or play others path and have various other girls (but no MG).
Not sure I understand, so if I chose a MG then its just her and the rest are closed, but it doesn't stop other girls? or theres a no MG path but then theyre all closed? Apologies just didn't get it.

If you take a MG path - every other girl is closed.
Don't take a MG path - you have numerous SG to play around with (but all MG are off limits).
if i got that right, you can have 1 MG and therefore plenty other SG or you must not choose a MG to have plenty other SG ? Like Topgun1_wrx i think of rerun the game,

No. If you have a MG - you can't have anyone else. (There might be a cheat option at some point, but nothing yet).

Considering Quinn isn't a MG, it technically shouldn't impact everyone, but what's the definition of a SG anyway? Both her and Riona are Side Girls, so as much as we might see Quinn as an antagonist to some grander scheme, it's just more involved than another Side Girls' thread. For all we know, Riona could go the route of Mona, and DPC wouldn't blink since he has 23 other girls to work with.

I think you're missing what I was saying. Its not about main girls, side girls. Initially, I had seen it as this overarching thing that would kick in for everyone. That it was just playing in the background, until DPC pulled the triggers for it to cascade.
As the game progressed and shaped up, though, it clearly revealed itself to mainly be a Quinn plot. It was HER story. So I'm fine with it being relegated to her subplot.
From a narrative standpoint, though, when I factor in how it felt earlier on and what I was anticipating, its still unsatisfying for something that seemed to be so looming to be so small. Thats all I was saying. I get why it is what it is, and I'm good with that. Doesn't mean it still doesn't fall flat a bit for me.
I care about Mona. I liked her...But the 23 others girls aren't fan favorites like Riona

Knowing DPC, I don't think he cares about whether characters are fan favorites since his first game, he murdered one of the two favorite characters in a fire and made another one batshit crazy. (Reina is cool).But the 23 others girls aren't fan favorites like Riona
