I think it's meant to be a sort of parallel. Heather sucks at blowjobs, Tommy says it during episode 2 that she can't deepthroat him like Riona. Or Joanne for Rusty (character that graduated prior to MC's arrival) But beyond that, Tommy doesn't really have any other complaints since it's likely she's decent/good in bed.
