I don't see any reason why people should have to report to you about their tastes in girls, but look, simple, authentic, fresh faced girl next door, there is Josy for you.Respectful question for the countless ardent fans of this incredibly popular game, including DrPinkCake himself. This is not an attempt to troll or offend. I simply have personal tastes that differ, and I'm curious if any of you can explain your tastes to me so that I may understand. I'm very much into "girl next door" types, or simple, authentic, cute, natural, fresh-faced, unadorned females--basically the opposite of everyone in this game, as far as I can tell. Obviously, these issues carry over to other games and much of society, but I'm asking here because this game is so popular and this thread is well-attended.
While I don't expect anybody to go through all of these, please pick whichever ones you'd like to speak to. What do you find appealing about:
* extremely heavy makeup that gives an unnatural look and obscures the face underneath
* painted-on eyebrows
* long fake fingernails with unnatural colors
* fake eyelashes
* facial piercings
* heavy tattooing
* unnaturally colored hair
* half-shaved heads
* bone structure that gives a severe, unfriendly look
* general vibes of jadedness, deadness, inauthenticity, severity, unnaturalness, invulnerability, and a sort of relative soullessness (as opposed to an innocent, full, fresh, present, lively, and whole-some energetic)
Some of those observations are objective and some are obviously subjective, but I'm just trying to articulate as best I can what I'm noticing and what I'm trying to understand. Thank you.

Just because BaDIK is a very popular game, it doesn't mean we're all fans of the aspects you just brought up. We don't all love the game only because of how the girls look. It's a very shallow way to look at the game's popularity or why we adore the women in it. It has more to do with focus on character driven storytelling and a lot of us have grown fond of the girls based rather on their personalities and character arcs. Looks are often secondary.Respectful question for the countless ardent fans of this incredibly popular game, including DrPinkCake himself. This is not an attempt to troll or offend. There's nothing wrong with my question. If you're not attracted to the items I inquired about then the question simply doesn't pertain to you. As noted repeatedly, these styles are copied endlessly throughout games and real life, so countless people are into them. I'm interested in picking the brains of those people and those people alone.Just because BaDIK is a very popular game, it doesn't mean we're all fans of the aspects you just brought up. Besides, if you search around you may find plenty of complaints and memes about the girls' designs. To name a few, just look at Jill and jokes about her raccoon makeup or goblin smile, or perhaps you'll notice people pointing out Maya's rough skin or Bella's oversized proportions. You're also not alone in liking less makeup. DPC has started doing it more lately and players sing praises whenever a girl appears with little to no paint on her face. Of course, some people are also casually shallow and are automatically drawn to chicks of particular hair color, ignoring everything else, or don't even give a girl a chance just because they don't like tattoos or piercings.
Ultimately, I think you're approaching this topic from a wrong angle. People aren't only drawn to BaDIK because of the specific ways the women look. The designs are mostly DPC's taste, the story is his vision, you either accept it, learn to love it or find something else to play. Just because the game might be missing exactly your type of love interest, doesn't immediately mean its players don't have overlapping tastes with yours. I'm sure many of us also love the kind of woman you described. A few in the game come quite close actually, either looks or personality wise, and they all have respectable fan bases.

What are the chances we get a 4th of July special render? I'm guessing next to zero, seeing how we haven’t gotten shit for the past few holidays—except fucking April Fools'
Well, it's April Fools.... some devs create entire games for that holiday *cough*Classy Lemon*Cough* and even AAA devs like Blizzard release out "patch notes" on that day. It's just a fun moment to poke fun of the fan base. It's pretty lame (but expected) that DPC only releases a "teaser preview" on that day.What are the chances we get a 4th of July special render? I loved your gif. Quinn currently is A-tier material for me when it comes to a combination of looks, personality, storyline and sexscenes. I could only hope I could create gifs like that for the women in this game I like
Say it ain't so
