Yeah, maybe. Of course it will also depend a lot on how much code he still has to write and how many bugs will pop up, but it just seems fast to me compared to the previous episodes.

Depends on how “branched” the story is.

Still reckon the reason Ep 11 took so long was largely down to having an entire distinct sub-path for two LIs with the snow retreat, and then having to find new outfits for every character including background for the underwear party. A New Years party for ep12 (if it happens) would likely be more generic and easier costume-wise.

We can be pretty sure that there will be a lot of extra branching, but that will probably just mostly be coding and dialogue and not really where it takes place. He already teased us by saying that there will be scenes not many people will see (sounds like a branch not many people will likely play), plus we have at least branches for each MG and a couple of side girls with Zoey as a result of episode 11.

Then again, like I said I have no idea how much of the coding is already done and I also don't know how quickly he was done with writing and rendering for episodes 9 through 11.

Didn't DPC tell us a couple of updates ago that he was almost done with all the rendering for the then written story? So unless that was just a small part of the story, if the rest of the rendering will go just as fast we might see the game go in beta a lot sooner than expected.

It's better to set your expectations for the end of 2026, rather than being disappointed every month.

I still do, but like I said it just seems that he has already a lot of stuff done (unless he has written like 60% of the story since that update of course).

Season 4 will be the last and he said it will be different than previous seasons. He didn't say in what way however, but general consensus is that it will probably either at most be 1 or 2 normal episodes with the rest being (smaller) epilogue episodes and/or most if not all episodes being onrail without any further choices.

Not really, it would mean there's only one episode left to conclude most of the plotlines and that the new season will only include a single update.

I doubt that season 4 will just be 1 episode, especially since DPC has said in last years update that he expected the main story to take at least until episode 14 and he hasn't updated that in this years Q&A.

I just never understood the obsession with feet. Of all the body parts to become obsessed with you've "chosen" one of strangest.
There may be more depraved fetishes out there but feet is by far the strangest of the "normal" category.

I agree with the one or two regular episodes. However, I can very well imagine that there won't be one or two epilogue episodes, but rather one or two prequel episodes.

I think that's why there will be two prequels.

Prequel 1: This will revolve around all the family relationships that concern the MC. This doesn't just affect Lynette and her parents. We also don't know anything about Neil's parents. I also suspect that the MC has or had a sister or brother.

Prequel 2: This will directly affect the LIs and the MC, because I suspect that something might have happened to the MC and that EP1 is already a second beginning. It's strange that Derek fills the "Don't Drink Bottle" in EP11, but we already see this bottle in EP9 and can also give some to Sally.

What did Tommy say in EP9? We already saw that last year.
