From what I've seen outside of a couple of exceptions there of course always are, almost all of us don't want her to be with Jacob. Not because of Zoey, but because Jacob is such a worthless pussy.

That's part of it. Another reason is how he talks about Zoey while he's in your room:

I like Zoey a lot, but hate the massive tattoos. Pre-San Diego Zoey was the best. And no to Jacob, not because I want Zoey for myself (because I have multiple saves, so will go Zoey on some and not on others), but because she said herself that she has no romantic interest in Jacob. What Jacob wants doesn't matter, but a lot of people (not saying you, here) seem desperate to make it a thing.
