She didn't deliberately expose Riona. She didn't anticipate that Vinny would rat them out, Quinn herself explained after she got mugged, that since Riona had zero contact with Buddy and his crew and wasn't important or well known, there was zero chance that someone would come after her. In her mind, she was herself the potential target since she got mugged and Vinny later confronted her, that's why she asked the MC to be her "boddyguard".

She didn't anticipate that Vinny would come to B&R ( it's technically her, Lily and Tommy's fault in that regard ) and would go as far as coming for Riona. It has never trully been Buddy the issue but Vinny. Before Vinny came out, Riona wasn't really at risk. Buddy barely noticed anything with Quinn ( and didn't even notice that Vinny scammed him harder than Quinn ).

So sure, she was reckless and miscalculated badly but she didn't deliberately expose Riona to Buddy, she just underestimated how far Vinny would go.

To be fair, Vinny was just as reckless and short sighted since he didn't anticipate that Quinn could also rat him out to Buddy for overcharging his own prices, in retribution. Which led him to get beaten almost as badly as Riona.
By the way, do we know who mugged Quinn and how did they know she was carrying drugs?

I don't think so, but was probably be either a rival dealer and/or friend of Vinny who's trying to take Quinn out of the picture to take her territory for himself. I'm pretty sure whoever did it, that Vinny informed him.

When it comes to Quinn, I really like her character, not as a person, but as a driving force in the story. I find it quite interesting how DPC made her a sort of anti-hero with the possibility of redemption, considering her actions in the last episode.

That said, I think people who debate her behavior ignore the amount of psychological manipulation, gaslighting, and how these practices, applied to people with low self-esteem or poor judgment, can distort victims' perceptions. Every day, we see real stories of people who have been emotionally and psychologically manipulated for years, not always with deliberate violence, but with subtle subliminal suggestions and under the guise of phrases like "I'm only doing this because I love you" or "I do this because I want to protect you." This is a very common strategy among sexual predators, emotional fraudsters, compulsive liars, and others.

Despite this type of predatory behavior, disguised as a survival strategy, it's more common in male/female relationships (and the news, I repeat, is full of real stories about this). I've seen and witnessed many brother/sister, father/son, mother/son relationships involving gaslighting, emotional manipulation, and psychological abuse. Such strategies are always deliberate by one of the parties, and when they occur over years, they completely rob the victim of the common sense to recognize small warning signs, because they'll always be reminded of how much the predator "does it out of love" or to "protect" them.

In Quinn's case, worse than doing this for years with Riona (and she admits this verbatim when talking to the MC, saying how easy prey she was), was her arrogance in thinking she had everything under control - an idea that was questioned more than once by Riona herself! Quinn always thought she could play chess like her father, but when things started to get out of hand, she realized how much she had let herself be carried away by her arrogance. However, by the time she realized things were getting out of hand, it was already too late, and the threat of violence and death was already knocking on not only her door, but the doors of those around her.

Furthermore, let's call a spade a spade: she's committing crimes such as sex trafficking, drug trafficking, sexual exploitation, conspiracy (if her relationship with Stephen is proven), blackmail, and other crimes I can't even imagine. In real life, she'd already be arrested, or at least on any federal agency's radar, in less than a second.

In real life, anyone even remotely suspicious of anything I've described is, in my view, a shitty human being, regardless of their childhood experiences, and I'd keep as far away from them as possible. In the fantasy world of AVN, I think I can save her from herself, and she's the best fuck I ever had!

I'm sorry, but I disagree.
I think... No, I'm sure that the so-called gaslighting is bullshit.
It's an excuse for cowards. Cowards justify their cowardice by saying that someone has suppressed their will, although in fact they understand everything perfectly well, they know that they are being deceived, but they simply lack the courage to defend their opinion, their position, their right. It is psychologically easier for them to agree with someone else's opinion, follow someone else's will and go with the flow.
They are simply afraid of conflict.

So you're stating, without a shadow of a doubt that all victims whose lives were destroyed by that kind of psychological manipulation are liars. And that all psychologists and psychiatrists who have identified this kind of thing based on facts and scientific research are also liars.

Okay, that's your right. After all, we're living in the Fantastic World of the Little Orange King; nothing surprises me anymore.

In a sense, yes, they lie. But they lie first and foremost to themselves. It is easier for them to believe that someone has deprived them of their will and clouded their minds than to honestly admit to themselves that they are simply cowards who lack the courage to put themselves and their own interests first.

Yeah we don't have enough info yet but I don't think Quinn benefits at all from Stephens clients, if they are paying for it at all. They could be board members of B&R or other important people and it's used garner favor in whatever way Stephens needs.
If they are paying for it would probably be pretty expensive and even if Quinns cut would be a small portion of it, it would still be a decent chunk of change. But she is still short on money to pay back Buddy. Then again we don't know how often the girls are used for these premium clients. I think Quinn only makes a cut of the student body who uses the restaurant (isn't she slightly bothered if the MC isn't using it?) and running the whole thing is her way of keeping a scholarship.

The student body is definitely used as practice for the girls and then a source of semi-constant income when they are used to being whores. Their scavenger hunt is also a decent way of sniffing out potential whore material as well.

If Quinn is Priscilla then I think the restaurant is a fairly new thing that started with her. Do we really think she could afford tuition in the first place?
If Priscilla is someone else, maybe someone in the faculty, then yes its being going for a while.

Ultimately I think that perhaps, maybe the great DPC didn't really plan out the prostitution ring from the start.
Like the needle filled with some unknown drug Quinn gives to Tommy that we now pretend didn't happen.
The hints of older clients point out to something well established. At the very least the restaurant would be a new addition to something much larger. If Quinn were involved in the start of the restaurant, she and Stephen would have to have a different connection, which would mean that Stephen is involved in the drugs as well. However that would also imply Quinn having contacts who have way more pull than Buddy and that would make her (and Riona) untouchable.

It just makes more sense if the drugs and the prostitution are two different games and Quinn is a very low level player in both of them. It has the potential of the evils colliding and tripping over each other. The police now have at the very least a ton of leads on the drugs at B&R and their investigation is bound to uncover the prostitution as well.

Stephen is already in the process of jumping ship because of the Mona and Maya situations. He has figured it's only a matter of time until the police start an investigation. He is getting a divorce because he wants at least some of his assets fully in his control. He needs to run and if Jade still has a say in their financial matters he will effectively lose it all as he can't both evade the law and fight Jade over the money. And once his corruption is revealed to Jade she will divorce him anyway and whatever the legal system doesn't take from him will belong to Jade. Right now he still has time so he is getting a divorce first and then he will disappear.

But the drug situation speeds up the police catching up to him. Either he will be caught directly or news of the investigation will alert his corrupt clients and business partners. He will have to face the law for his crimes or the underworld for his betrayals. He has already lost. He just doesn't know it yet.

All of this is on the board ready and easily incorporated in the story. The question is if it's there by DPC's design or completely accidentally. Will it actually be part of the story or will DPC drop the ball?

And if I have to DIY this story via fanfiction, I'm gonna.

This is what I don't understand. What was Stephen thinking when he got involved in all this? A prostitution ring made up of college girls who are in his daughter's sorority? That's like bringing hookers home and screwing them while your wife and daughter watch TV in the next room, and hoping no one finds out.

I just want to comment on these crimes you mention, because I think you are blowing things a bit out of proportion.
Sex trafficking means the use of some sort of force, fraud or coercion, which is not the case. What Quinn does is simply pimping, which is quite different.
Drug trafficking is quite a broad term, but in the end Quinn is a street-level dealer for stuff like weed and shrooms, not El Chapo.
Sexual exploitation: not the case, as mentioned, only pimping.
Blackmail: I don't know where you even get that from. The restaurant girls work in the restaurant for money, not because they are blackmailed.

His reasons were also discussed a couple of days ago. The most popular reason is that he thought this is an "easy" and fast way to get popular with rich and powerful people. No matter his reasons, he at least made a good call by giving Maya a second chance. If he didn't, he still didn't know about the rumors of free tuition.

Talking about Becky... I really wonder why she and Christie seem to stay close friends, even though they seem to really dislike eachother. Especially during the Halloween costume event Christie seem to really have it in for Becky.

ohhh the answer is very simple. For Image.
they'll keep stick together as long as they both got the benefit of popularity.

BUUUT, maybe DPC have something nasty behind those? who knows, our lovely author seems like surprising us with something bizzare :BootyTime:

Could be, but usually you'll have a couple of groups with 1 (maybe 2 if they like eachother) popular girls and the rest being groupies just there to be beautiful (just not as beautiful as their "leader) and yes-men. You usually don't see multiple popular girls that don't like eachother in the same group, that is a recipe for disaster for all parties involved.

oh i said that, bcz back at college, my girl was part of those groupies bro. And she argue a lot with this blonde girl, but sometimes they act like best friend ever. Thou, they never hangout after graduation. And the reason just like i said, only for popularity, so they can organize activity like party, charity, selling shiet, etc. easily.

And the funny part is,even thou both of them were popular at my college back then, they become popular bcz of different characteristic, such as my girl was like those "crazy-redhead", while this blonde was "social-butterfly".

This week, I've been posing animations for a lewd scene every day. I'm almost done with the lewd scene, and it ended up being a bit longer than originally intended, and that's always nice.

When animating, I've been working with both old and new DAZ versions. It was a minor inconvenience to swap between the two, but it worked well.

I plan to only render with DAZ alpha versions in the near future. As a render queue for a PC slave empties, I will upgrade the DAZ version for that system. Then I'll rinse and repeat this process until all PCs are updated.

I spent half a day playtesting episode 12. I got to see scenes I hadn't played before, and the episode felt pretty long already, even though it feels like there's a mountain left to climb. I thoroughly enjoyed playing what has been created thus far.

Thanks to playing the episode, I came up with the episode name, but that reveal will be saved for later in the development cycle.

Next week, I plan to finish the lewd scene I'm working on and continue posing static renders for written scenes. I need to pose around 600+ static renders to catch up to the written dialogue again.

The animation queue will be rather big after I complete this lewd scene, but I plan to create another lewd scene soon.

Polls
In poll news, the cosmetic poll for Josy ended today.

It was a dominant victory for option #2, and it will be featured in episode 12. Thanks for voting!

Have a nice weekend

Dr PinkCake
I love Josy, but the overly red Lipstick doesnt suit her... dont like it. The outfit is nice though.

DPC kinda manages it this DEV cycle to make it look like he is putting out huge numbers already without saying actual numbers. But i dont think its is like it sounds... my guess, we are at 30% done. Not much more... hopefully not less.
