I really wish the walkthroughs at least got updated. Because there are a lot of choices that have big impacts later in the game and there is no mention of it in there. Even for smaller stuff like the threesome with Elena and JB, the WT doesn't mention that if get a BJ from Heather, you can't get that scene, so unless you have a save right before that choice, you will have to restart season 3 just to get that one scene.

That's not the definition of second cousins. My second cousin is the child of my parent's first cousin (or the grandchild of my grandparent's sibling, or the great-grandchild of my great-grandparent).

What you're describing are first cousins once-removed.

I was assuming it was, but after your comment I did some research and I realised it is not.

I can assure you that as far as Italy is concerned, my 1st cousin is the son of my uncle (same as in UK/US), and my 2nd cousin is the son of my 1st cousin. We don't use the expression "first cousins once-removed" at all: neither in common speak, nor in family law.

To refer to what in UK/US is called "my second cousin" in Italy we are forced to use the circumlocution "the son/daughter of the cousin of my mom/dad". We don't have a specific term.

So the confusion.

What can I say? Variety is what makes the world beautiful... Some concepts can’t be directly translated across cultures.

I mean storywise it made sense. The DIKs had a huge argument because of people fucking Heather, so they kind of lost a lot of trust in each other. For me the issue is more gameplay wise. It turns something that should be fun and it makes it feel like a chore, especially if you're playing it with minigames enabled.

Philippines, in my country 1st cousin is define by the children of my parents sibling. 2nd cousin is define by children of my parents 1st cousin. Im 34 and my friends growing up are my 2nd cousins which is closer to my age the youngest is around 28

you cant make players go replay back 2 eps, its not an indie game. + that replaying wasn't worth it. scene was short and incomplete af. dpc's attention was either at different girls or gameplay aspects(mostly senseless aspects). same with Heather. They both by the way completely missed 10ep with 0 scenes.(mb only 1 - an ass slap)

I enjoyed the game a lot, but yea, that is something he should probably take more into consideration when creating all the branches. If a scene with a side girl requires you to replay the whole game, or in this case restart the season, It's probably not really worth creating a branch just for that.

That even starts with the walkthrough of season 2. During the scene with Cathy in Bella's car we aren't warned that it will end the chance of being with Bella if we accept Cathy's blowjob. That isn't mentioned until much later in the guide where (if you accepted it) Bella quits dating MC.

Also DPC said that apologizing to JB for the blowjob is currently bugged (it's also mentioned in the guide). This may mean that when ep 12 is released (where DPC said he will fix it) we can still have the threesome with Elena and JB if we apologize to JB for accepting Heather's blowjob.
