She is indeed important to the story (or at least MCs background), but DPC said in 2025s Q&A that she still "only" is a side girl.
When we say Main Girl and Side Girl, in the end whats the difference? You get a shorter ending? You can't get an ending with them?

Personally there isn't really any girl in the game that I don't like. I have a bunch of saves for pretty much everyone because I don't want to miss content with any of them. That is why I have like 7 different backups for my saves. Loved the game but don't want to replay the whole thing again for a VERY long time.

since zoeys introduction, i've always said, she's my endgame. But i'm the same, i have multiple different saves with each playthrough so i don't miss content

Main Girls in this game are simply said "the scooby gang". The main 5 in MC's friendship circle, all of them will at least get an ending.
When it comes to side girls however, only DPC knows for sure, but to us it's pretty blurry. All he said is that some side girls also will get an ending, but he didn't say who or how many. There are a couple that are near certain seeing how we can choose for them (Zoey, Nicole and Lily when she finally makes up her mind). Quinn, Riona, Jade and Nora (if she does a Bella and says "screw the rules" after all) are also quite likely to get an extended ending, but with the rest we can currently only speculate.

Re-did my Nicole playthrough a little where I allowed some lewd actions before meeting her (Camilla blowjob at HOT's) and a little fun ones after meeting her (Elena's special shot), but will still be serious and commited a little later, after Halloween party basically. I will also use this as my only run where I try to nail all minigams to perfection and set high scores (fuck you Jacob and your stupid 20 points in that rng bullshit basketball game). The general idea of the run mentioned in my signature stays the same, but there some improvements I think with these new decisions I made and I may even alter it further from fresh once Episode 12 shows us what's in store for Nicole.

Aside from more content and diversion points, there's virtually no difference between Mg and Sg. As for endings, I think the "other" route will give full endings to everyone the MC could have called in episode 9 (and maybe Cinderella and Tara). Plus solo ending where the MC just hangs out with everyone and doesn't get into any relationships.

I did the same for the Quinn and Rio paths. I got lucky and scored >20 points in the basketball minigame on my first try. But after that, I was given the worst possible party planning options.

Jill having that side is hardly something S3 introduced. It comes out more as she grows more comfortable with these things but that girl has been HORNY since S1. If MC is not wearing the clam jamming dildo helmet, Jill will in her sleep hump herself to an orgasm on his hand if he lets it happen. Jill is the classic shy girl who is really, really pent up underneath the proper behaviour. Having high expectations on the first time having romantic meaning and having a hard time finding a guy who lives up to the fairytale expectations are not necessarily part of the trope, but they are fairly common. There is absolutely nothing unexpected about what she does in S3. Apart from the banana. That was weird.
