Yes. The story with the main character isn't over, that was simply a story in between chapters. A lot has happened since then.

Bella may solve one of its great mysteries, but it's not like we were holding our breath. Sage and Jill have been going on the same mechanism for some time now, Sage discovering the romantic side of a relationship, Jill the sexual side. Out of 10 interesting things about the ongoing story, at least 9 concern secondary characters or events that have happened very recently.
Yes, but what I was interpreting from the other guy's message was that the last thing they played was the interlude with Zoey. Which, if you don't follow the game's development too closely, can easily be mistaken for Tremolo's story being "over", which it isn't; we go back to playing as him right after the interlude ends.
