It will probably be Derek instead of Maya. Seeing as DPC has a track record of making the MC's best friend have some type of illness. AL had Liam secretly dealing with Cancer.

I wouldn't call that a sign of great intelligence. People like Dave and Ariette are students at this college. And it's hard for me to consider the MC intelligent, considering how foolish he can be in certain situations. For example, he's willing to run away from college because his roommate kicked him out of the room. Or, for instance, the MC and Derek easily believed that every dick would fuck a teacher during their hell week.

He didnt talk to Josy because he had a crush on her and she wasnt just any girl.
The windows werent the only thing broken and MC was the only one who knew anything about repairs...

I feel like a lot of this is conflating intelligence with experience. Tremolo does a lot of stupid things because he hasn't had a lot of life experiences going into the game, but he certainly isn't an idiot. He's no genius either, of course - like most people, he has his moments of sharpness and stupidity. He's simply naive in a lot of aspects of life, especially expressing his feelings.

This applies to your perception of the other DIKs too. Like, most of them aren't exactly morons - even Derek, who acts the dumbest, is shown to be an excellent student when he puts in the work - but the majority of them are also just young party bros who haven't really had to put in much effort before or faced real consequences for their actions. Now that they are experiencing these things for the first time they're struggling to deal with it. They make a lot of dumb choices when left to their own devices, but they can be quite clever and creative once they have a direction to aim for.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. He was in love with Josy, and he was afraid to talk to her. If she hadn't asked him out, he probably would have gone to college without even trying. That doesn't sound like someone who's good at interacting with women.

This week, I finished up the big scene I was working on and completed the art for another ~100 renders scene.

I continued by writing a lewd scene and have since been working on posing static renders and animations for it. It's going well. I will wrap it up within a few more days, and then continue writing and animating for yet another lewd scene.

I'm currently focusing on building a larger render queue with animations. And it's a battle because the PCs have gotten faster with the upgrades.

I estimate that the produced static renders are around 45-50%, and the posed animations are roughly 55%. Overall, I'm likely over the hump, but time will tell what the size of the episode will be.

I have at least seven more lewd scenes to create for the episode, plenty of branched content to plan, write and create, and a big free roam event left to create in its entirety.

The canon content, which has been my main focus up until now, is starting to come together nicely.
