Admittedly I do feel that way, DPC is bad at making it feel like things happen in-between scenes, but I wouldn't take it as fact. The little Christmas montage helped a lot, I wish he'd do more of that or like that.

Gotta disagree with you Darkwen, while I do agree DPC should be better at showing M/J as a couple, we gotta remember that despite the huge size of each Episode DPC still needs to be really focused on what he shows us due to resources and time constrains.

Just think, if he committed more time to showing that other areas would suffer.

- Riona is Japanese
- Jill is Chinese (Cantonese)

All descendant, of course (and Jill is mixed because her father is obviously white). And this is my imagination, of course, nothing canon. And there are also weird things, like, Jill have blue eyes, which could be explained by her father being white, but her mother also does! I don't think any of them are "Asian" so to speak, it mostly seems to me to just be the eye makeup designs alter the perception of the eye-shape as a lot of 2010s fashion did.
