After playing this visual novel, I can't find anything that even comes close to it in quality and story. What surprises me is that more people aren't following Jossy and Maya's story; they're so cute and make you fall so hard for them... especially Jossy, she's my weakness.

I've been writing dialogue for the big free roam event every single day this week. I thought I would be able to complete the dialogue and start working on art, but there's been too much to write about. And the free roam event grew as I wrote, and I included more scenes. Who would have thought that would happen?

It's tough to give you a picture of how much writing there is for this free roam event. Comparing the calls to images in the code with that of the Christmas party in episode 11, I estimate the writing would need ~2900 renders at the moment, making it roughly 30% bigger. But I'm not done with it yet. I'm getting close, though. As you can see, this event will be a major part of the episode.

I have written 76 events out of 82 planned - event count isn't set in stone -, meaning I'm 90-95% done with the dialogue for the free roam event.

I haven't written any code for the free roam event navigation yet, but that's fun and fast to code. I'll knock that out in 1-2 days of work alongside making the art for the environment renders.

This morning, I only had 10 animations in the render queue. So, today I pushed the stop button on writing dialogue mid-flow and started posing animations. I will pose animations to increase the queue a bit, then I will write the rest of the events and go back and forth to create the art. With the environments, characters, and dialogue done, posing the free roam event will be straightforward.

During my years on Patreon, I've had many polls, but none as close as the one that ended today. In fact, it had a different outcome yesterday, and this morning, only 14 votes separated two of the options (a patron in the $30 tier has 11 votes, with the voting power that comes with the tiers accounted for).

When the poll ended, the difference between options 1 and 3 was less than 1%, with option 3 in a marginal favor. For the first time ever, I have decided to include two winning poll options in episode 12. Hopefully, that pleases the vast majority of you. You'll discover how it's implemented when you play.

Thanks for voting!

Option 1 is the better fit for a NYE party. That's when everyone seems to go mad for "shimmery" costumes.

I think it's at least strongly suggested that Sage and Chad have not had sex.
When they are fighting in Ep 3:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

If they had sex in the past then that sentence doesn't work.
It would be: "And it's about fucking time you start getting physical with me again, too."
So if they haven't had sex then I don't believe they have been together for a long time. I don't believe Sage would put up with no sex from her boyfriend for anything more than a few months.

There isn't any reason to think that Sage and Chad have been in a relationshgip for a long time.
They knew each other two years ago in the flashback scene where she wants to plan a party with him, but that's just because she was the HOT president then and he was a big deal in the Alphas.
The flashback scene doesn't show anything more than that.
Incorrect.

Welcome to grarg's grammarg gressonrg

"Oh! And it's about fucking time you start getting more physical with me, too!"
This implies they were physical in the past. Hence "more". What more, or something less would mean, is interpretive.

Even if the sentence was "It's about time you get physical with me!"
It could mean that recently Chad wasn't physical, not that he wasn't prior.

Eh, this event is going to be the biggest of the season and probably the "showstopper" for both the season and possibly in some ways the game (given season 4 is meant to in part be more of an epilogue in vibes). At least half the nominal scenes are done, and by DPC's own reckoning more than half the total work of the episode was complete last month.

My own worst assumption was we'd get to Christmas and it'd still be approaching the halfway mark.

I mean he does also keep introducing new girls like cinderella so they probably need decent scenes now as well.
