Thank you very much, my main choice was between Sage and Bella

Thank you very much, my main choice was between Sage and Bella
Both are great, and I also love the Jill route.
The Bella route is so good, and seeing her open up and start to heal is good to see.
However, her route has a lot of potential bad stuff that will likely come up and cause pain between her and the MC.
Hopefully they will still get their happy-ever-after at the end.

The Jill route is just warm and romantic with minimal real drama or impending doom.
I like to play the Jill route just as a feel-good after playing one of the others.

And the Sage route is also nice and romantic, and as long as you don't mess around with anyone else (like her mom), there isn't much drama or impending doom there either.

Finally the Maya/Josy route has so much upcoming pain between themselves and them and the MC that I find it hard to replay, unlike the others which I replay every now and then.

I have to throw the Zoey route out there as well, I neglected to talk about it in my other post.
I always reject her on the main girl routes - I never cheat on those routes.
But I don't dislike her and don't blame her for still wanting to see what there is with her and the MC.
Even with her telling him that she loves him, he said that first so I think it's understandable that she does say it - even knowing that he has a girlfriend.
So I have one save that I don't romance or do anything with anyone and plan on getting back together with Zoey.

Prove that Sage slept with someone other than MC. Or Lilly for money at the club. Well, unless you send me a screenshot from the game, it didn't happen. Although it's obvious Sage had boyfriends before Chad, but since the game didn't say anything about it, it's not true.
i meant that the fact game tells you(i knew it for Sage. and for Lily and Nicole - found out it from you and bozeman) that all 3 of them were pristine and were waiting for mc, quite funny. And convenient for the players who for some reason need that.

Coz there woudnt be any ntr or cuck-something if Sage was in NORMAL sexual relationships with her BF. Her story just would be more REAL.
Lily - yes, she is a smart former-nerd girl, she could just dance and be unctouchable, but idgaf if she did, coz it was before meeting with mc. (her case most realistic among them 3 though)
Nicole - obviously was making additional services BEFORE mc, if game(dpc) tells otherwise, thats a sweet lie(and idgaf again)

The flashback was two years ago.
Sage is now a senior (4th year) - she graduates in the spring.

But she and Chad were not dating in the flashback.
I initially thought they were but was corrected and rewatched the flashback scene.
She was in her first year as HOT president (her sophomore year).
All the flashback shows is her confirming that the HOTs party with the Alphas and then asking Chad about party planning.
That was part of her job as president.
Chad then ignores her and walks away and she goes after him still talking about planning a party.

The flashback doesn't give any indication to them being together.
There's no way she would have been with Chad for the last two years without any sex.

And we can have some confidence that they have not had sex at all based on their fights.

I think all that points to them only being together for a relatively short amount of time.
You basically discribe a major plothole in the game (of course there are A LOT of them)

But the whole Sage and Chad relationship doesnt make any sense to me. Sage is VERY forward. She wants sex from the start. I cant picture her like this:

Date1: Sage: "Hey Chad, wanna come in?" Chad:"nah iam tired, maybe another day"
Date2: Sage: "god i need a good fuck now" Chad: "nah i have that thing tomorrow, maybe another day"
Date3: Sage: "wanna fuck instead of going out?" Chad: "nah i need my energy to lift weights"

And that goes on for weeks and months??? Nope. Never ever, not with Sage.

And if they were only together for weeks, maybe 2-3 months... why would she stay with him? At the point when MC comes to the college they are already fighting because Sage already found out about an "affair" chad has going on... (the panties she found) So she is kinda fightring for a relationship that is not existent in the first place besides some dates and a kiss here and there? That is totally unbelievable...

If a girl like Sage would find panties from another girl (well, Troy) in the bag of her EARLY boyfriend, in a EARLY relationship that didnt went beyond base 1. She would just drop it and move on...

But she is fighting, is hurt, cries a lot and so on... like she is losing something meaningful. The whole reactions of her shows us that this relationship is not something "fresh" or for a short time... its more shown that this was pretty serious for her and went on a longer time.

As i say... the whole thing doesnt make sense... if its just a short thing, why does she react like the way she does? She acts like she loves him and is very hurt after the breakup. They are even arguing about love. If its such a short relationship like you said, love wouldnt be a topic. Talking about love, but never even had sex?

No matter how i turn this thing around, the whole relationship between Chad and Sage is just unbelievable and doesnt make sense how it went. Chad using her just as a front, and Sage keeping up with that for weeks and months without physical interaction and than crying a river after the breakup over basically nothing? Nope, not buying that. DPC didnt thaught that one through one bit.

How long should i wait? I've been replaying this game for how many times now
optimistic guess for a new episode is about september 2026. And yes iam serious, and yes its really a optimistic guess. Development of this episode is about 50% done, and started march 2025, well even a little earlier, because DPC already made some stuff during the DEV cycle for episode 11 to get a headstart for ep 12... so basically... the actual DEV cycle is already running 9 months total at this point... and it will take at least another 9-10 months to finish this episode. Oh and of course... after that, season 4 will come. So if youw ant to know when this game will be complete... something around 2030.

Although I'm impatient, after playing the game multiple times made me realize how in depth this game is and it needs a lot of time to make every path works even the side paths. I'm just impatient because there's no AVN like this and i ran out of good AVN to play lol

I think the general explanation here, whether it's good or not, is that Sage has some serious abandonment issues. Her first reaction when she thinks Chad is cheating on her isn't just "what an asshole, fucking some other girl behind my back," it's "what, am I not GOOD enough for him?" She takes it as a personal criticism when things don't work out, which leads me to believe that she internalized any early rough patches and lack of intimacy as just her needing to try harder.

We see a couple of glimpses of it again when she later talks about being adopted and some of the stuff her she goes through with her parents, and how she beats herself up for not being able to help Maya more directly. Sage's childhood has left her with a stunted self image and a need for outside validation. If things are going badly, that's just because she's not good enough and needs to do better. Which is why it hurts her so much to try so hard and still fail to gain Chad's notice. It's likely that he was the one who asked her out, not the other way around, to serve as his beard. So from her perspective, this guy who was totally into her just a short while ago is suddenly totally bored with her and it must be her fault somehow. That's also why she turns to sex with Tremolo so quickly, because seeing how he responds to her charms helps fill that need for validation that she is sexy and is desirable. It's not that she's a sex addict as someone claimed here not long ago, but that she just wants to feel like she's enough.

Yeah of course, being abandoned is a huge thing for her... but to be abandoned, there needs to be a real connection before. Which isnt the case with Chad if its only a "short" thing like Bozeman75 said...

So i say... it was NOT a short thing, the relationship between Sage and Chad was more longterm. Well, depends on what you think is longterm though... so to be precise, i think the relationship went on for at least half a year.

And the discussion was if Chad and Sage ever had Sex... if they would be together half a year, there is no freaking way that this went without sex, no way in hell. If there were no sex between the two, it was only a short thing, and if it was a short thing... Sage is highly overreacting regardless of her background.

Thats the problem i have with the Chad and Sage thing. No matter how you turn it... overall it doesnt make much sense.

My current thinking is that Sage had a massive crush two years ago, but they only got together more recently. So while the relationship wasn't that long Sage had 2+ years of emotional attachment.

Also as a general rule we should be careful about jumping to conclusions about the past based on how things are now. We are shown that both Sage and Jill have a bad opinion about Rusty that doesn't fit how he acts now, but does fit how he was two years ago. So when Sage and Jill formed their opinions they were justified but now they need to be updated.

We see how Sage is now. How was she two years ago? What was the process from there to here?

I don't really agree with either aspect of this argument. I don't think they needed some deep, long-term relationship for Sage to feel like she was being spurned - but even if it is necessary, it's clear their relationship runs back years, since they're seen in the flashback. Not dating, but seemingly on friendly terms. I imagine that makes it even worse to her: "why is this guy, who I've gotten along with so well and who asked me out, not laying a finger on me? What am I doing wrong?"

I think she would've been willing to wait for Chad for longer than you might expect because, again, the alternative is believing she's at fault. You'd be surprised how many excuses people are willing to believe, no matter how paper thin, if it means that the problems they're experiencing aren't their fault and they don't have to change anything because it'll be fixed soon anyway. Sage's brain is already primed to believe there's some problem with her, that she's not worthy, even if she hides it well. She'd easily put faith in him that it's just been a rough week or that he's busy with classes and training but will definitely be there for her next time, especially if he threw in a bone every now and then without actually doing much with her.

But Sage clearly doesn't need to know a guy that long to seek his validation, so long as he makes a good impression on her; just look at the MC. They only knew each other for a couple weeks at most before things started getting physical, and she began to confide in him about her problems. She's not just hopping into bed with every guy who shows interest, but she has no problems getting what she wants when someone makes her feel worth it.

When Tremolo meets him in the library, Chad implies that there's something deeper to why he chose Sage to be his beard - and why he chose not to come out to her. I don't think we'll be able to say decisively until we know why he picked her, out of all girls, and know more of what their relationship was like early on. We only ever saw the bad times, after all. That's not to say that whatever answer we get will be satisfying, but I do think we're missing pieces of the puzzle that will explain just how things got to the point they did.

It's very simple. She's the HOTs president. Which means that having her as a girlfriend is a way to assure that the HOTs will keep throwing parties with the alphas despite their overall lack of interest for Dawe and the rest. It gives him more credibility to have the HOTs president as a trophy girlfriend. Furthermore she's a Burke which means he could use her connection to obtain favors. That's exactly what he tried to do in Episode 3 after he got punished for assaulting the MC.

Picking Melanie or Sarah wouldn't have bring that much benefits.

I'd believed that too until he brought that up in the library. It's the simplest and most likely answer. But this game loves avoiding simple answers until the absolute last drop of drama is squeezed out of them, at which point the problem evaporates like a loan on a piece of paper. I'm positive there's more to it, even if the end reason makes zero fucking sense.
