It might have been the 1 year and a half before chad and her started dating because of the Rusty and Tommy flashback.

Which btw I am still not sure whether they are third years or second years. I would assume third year tho.

Not sure if it is directly stated, but the DIK's timeline seems to be:
  • 2 years ago Rusty, Tommy, Nick and Vinny founded the brotherhood.
  • 1 year ago Jacob and John Boy joined.
  • Sometime in the previous Spring semester Leon and Jamie joined.
  • Present day Derek and MC joined. Nick left.
At some point Vinny left the brotherhood, but it is not clear when that happened.

The flashback was two years ago.
Sage is now a senior (4th year) - she graduates in the spring.

But she and Chad were not dating in the flashback.
I initially thought they were but was corrected and rewatched the flashback scene.
She was in her first year as HOT president (her sophomore year).
All the flashback shows is her confirming that the HOTs party with the Alphas and then asking Chad about party planning.
That was part of her job as president.
Chad then ignores her and walks away and she goes after him still talking about planning a party.

The flashback doesn't give any indication to them being together.
There's no way she would have been with Chad for the last two years without any sex.

And we can have some confidence that they have not had sex at all based on their fights.

I think all that points to them only being together for a relatively short amount of time.

The fact that she was beaten is a stupid plot point. The dealer simply beat up his runner, even though she confessed everything right away. Having beaten her, she obviously wouldn't be able to continue working for a while, and as a result, she'll lose the money she earned from the sale. And all this because Quinn was selling at a higher price. It's nonsense.

It would've made more sense to keep her as collateral to keep Quinn in line. It would've also set the stage for a rescue mission and somewhat justified the series of events that took place. The DIKs, the strippers, and the HOTs could've banded together to save her and take down the ones responsible. It could've been epic, but missed opportunity I guess.

I treat everyone equally unless they give me a reason not to. Drug dealers aren't inherently bad. They may have no other option to get by in life. She's young, immature, naive, vulnerable, gullible, and starved for affection. She may be an adult, but she's been brainwashed and manipulated by Quinn, which compromised her decision making faculties.

Okay so it would go something like this (Current Members only)
3rd year: Rusty, Tommy
2nd year: Jacob, JB, Leon and Jamie
1st Year: Derek and MC

Right so it must be around that time.
Because we know that Troy was kicked out of the Jocks last year for unknown reasons either the 2nd semester or the first semester. So we can pinpoint based on Troy that Sage and Chad were still together on their 3rd year and on the halloween party committee which started in the 3rd year, the time that sage and chad were starting to have issues AND the dispute with Jocks and Diks started happening when Tommy fucked Arieth.

TLDR:
Chad and Sage were in a relationship by their 3rd year with the breakup starting in the beginning of their 4th year.
Jade also recalls meeting Chad and remarked to the MC that he always looked a little gay.
There might have been sex in the beginning but with Troy in the picture, Chad kept making up excuses.
Also explains why there is dildos and buttplugs in Sage's Room.

Maybe they got together at end of the 2nd year due to whole jocks and hots being together.
