at this point for ch11 there were 2 nsfw in first 10, and 2 in next 10(+2 fake ones)At this point I will be bitching about the preview even if it is one with Maya and NSFW...

my goodness those pink pants look so amazing on Josy OMJ
Come on, there are still 289 days before release - got to stretch those previews out somehow...At this point I will be bitching about the preview even if it is one with Maya and NSFW...
I don't think this is actually the case. It's more like the route to keeping the throuple balanced is meant to be hard to pull off and the game is both establishing a basis for bad ends and warning the players that they need to pay attention. There are pitfalls just like doing Cathy shuts down Bella's path and doing Jade blocks Sage's romance variant, but if you avoid the traps you'll get a good end.All Signs point to having to choose one of them. Even Mel talks about her throuple and how her friend is still with the guy and she left it. The MC Dad even points out that it is a bad idea. Even Derek is confused by it. It just isn't a relationship that is meant to work out for all three.
What did I doYou are turning into another Spock, pls control yourself
Bella always looks goodoh and Bella looks good too ..
Why wouldn't it beI will take that mostly as a compliment
I honestly don't think this is the case. Considering the last game you had to choose which one to leave in a burning building. All the various clues point to having to do this at some point it might not be as dire as the last game, but there really isn't a happy ending for throuples realistically and various character express this at multiple points. I see no proof of the contrary anywhere in the game.I don't think this is actually the case. Yeah, if we have to pick one then poor Maya is going to be sleeping alone.Maybe i'm just heartless .. because Josy has my heart but i think it going to be very easy to kick Maya out

Maya already looks like she knows it coming
I agree with this, especially when you take DPC's history toward poly relationships.I honestly don't think this is the case. Of course, that probably aligns with someone's kink so... ...not that there's anything wrong with thatI mean.... if somebody threw a condom full of urine at you. You would probably remember that forever. I would.
While i tend to think they break no matter what there could be a path for both a happy throuple and solo'sYeah, if we have to pick one then poor Maya is going to be sleeping alone.
Josy is just way too cute to kick out.
And let's be cold blooded pragmatists for a moment - Maya appears to have the same disease her Mom does.
Maya is scared of this and points out that her hands are craggy and look rough, like her Mom's.
So do you want to pick Maya and then up being her caretaker when she's 40 like her Dad is for her Mom?
Life's a cruel bitch sometimes.
(But I am still confident there will be a happy throuple route and that is what I would do rather than any solo with either of them.)
Well you don't have absolute proof for there being any good ends whatsoever. You'll only have that when the game actually ends. It could just as easily be that the throuple good end is the only good end for that path and hints at solo paths for Josy and Maya are just there to lead the player astray. The story core for them could be that if MC breaks one's heart the other will feel too guilty to be with him. You have to make both happy or neither will be.I honestly don't think this is the case. I have a very different and slightly more optimistic outlook and 2 possible ways I can see this going.I don't think it will be a choice.
Just like in Ep 11 the player gets a solo date with either Maya or Josy depending on which they have done more solo things with, I suspect the game will use that action to drive a wedge between the two that had the date and the 3rd that is left out.
I am confident the player will still be able to salvage the throuple but it will take some time to rebuild the relationship between all 3.
And in that process the player will instead be able to just pick a solo with Maya or Josy route if they want. (Though it would take a real heartless b*stard to kick either Maya or Josy out of the relationship and just keep the other.)
I suspect the wedge will happen in Ep 12 and the rebuilding and choice between throuple or solo maya or solo josy will be in Season 4.
But Becky approves so...All Signs point to having to choose one of them. Even Mel talks about her throuple and how her friend is still with the guy and she left it. DPC's "history" was one game and one game only. One instance of something happening is hardly enough to say it's a pattern in his storytelling. You wouldn't look at a movie like Jaws and say that all Steve Spielberg films were going to be like that. Good storytellers don't keep going back to the well and doing the same things over and over again. They might reuse some elements, but they'll craft a different story with them that has different outcomes, and in this case that different outcome can be a throuple that actually can work out.I agree with this, especially when you take DPC's history toward poly relationships.
I think all these players who think there is some magic combo they can pull off to preserve the throuple will be very sad, but it's doomed. Full stop. No MC choices will keep them all together.
Some choices will definitely make the inevitable split less painful though.![]()
