I honestly don't think this is the case. Considering the last game you had to choose which one to leave in a burning building. All the various clues point to having to do this at some point it might not be as dire as the last game, but there really isn't a happy ending for throuples realistically and various character express this at multiple points. I see no proof of the contrary anywhere in the game.
I agree with this, especially when you take DPC's history toward poly relationships.
I think all these players who think there is some magic combo they can pull off to preserve the throuple will be very sad, but it's doomed. Full stop. No MC choices will keep them all together.
Some choices will definitely make the inevitable split less painful though. :devilish:

Yeah, if we have to pick one then poor Maya is going to be sleeping alone.
Josy is just way too cute to kick out.

And let's be cold blooded pragmatists for a moment - Maya appears to have the same disease her Mom does.
Maya is scared of this and points out that her hands are craggy and look rough, like her Mom's.
So do you want to pick Maya and then up being her caretaker when she's 40 like her Dad is for her Mom?

Life's a cruel bitch sometimes.

(But I am still confident there will be a happy throuple route and that is what I would do rather than any solo with either of them.)
While i tend to think they break no matter what there could be a path for both a happy throuple and solo's

Well you don't have absolute proof for there being any good ends whatsoever. You'll only have that when the game actually ends. It could just as easily be that the throuple good end is the only good end for that path and hints at solo paths for Josy and Maya are just there to lead the player astray. The story core for them could be that if MC breaks one's heart the other will feel too guilty to be with him. You have to make both happy or neither will be.

I don't think it will be a choice.
Just like in Ep 11 the player gets a solo date with either Maya or Josy depending on which they have done more solo things with, I suspect the game will use that action to drive a wedge between the two that had the date and the 3rd that is left out.

I am confident the player will still be able to salvage the throuple but it will take some time to rebuild the relationship between all 3.
And in that process the player will instead be able to just pick a solo with Maya or Josy route if they want. (Though it would take a real heartless b*stard to kick either Maya or Josy out of the relationship and just keep the other.)

I suspect the wedge will happen in Ep 12 and the rebuilding and choice between throuple or solo maya or solo josy will be in Season 4.
I have a very different and slightly more optimistic outlook and 2 possible ways I can see this going.

First of all, this is the "Josy and Maya branch" and I don't think that it would be a branch for and with both if you can't end up with both. This game is not the same one as AL and I don't believe it can be used as a precedent because the throuple in that game never even got started because the moment you made it official you wanted that, which in this game would be the equivalent of the choice in Ep 4, tragedy struck soon after and it ended before it even began. With this one, we entered into it fully and have been doing our best to navigate its complexities whilst also getting intimate time with both at the same time, something AL did also not have.

With that being said, I think that what we will first and foremost see is that Josy & Maya will follow through on what they said talked about in Ep 11, opening up more and spending more time together as they look to rekindle things between them which they both said they wanted. We'll also see them and the MC doing things together as part of this as well since they also acknowledged they shouldn't leave him out of this process.

After this, we'll get a scene where the girls want to have a serious talk about how things have been going, maybe at the NYE party, and the first way I could see it go is that it will come down to choices made throughout the game that will feed into a scoring system like what Zoey got in Ep 11. If you score below the threshold then the MC will be the one who exits the relationship because it will be such that they feel as though his heart isn't in it with both of them and he will realise they're right, and if you're above the threshold then he will all say they love each other and the throuple is set.

Another way I could see it going is that a scoring system adds up things with each girl individually, not just the lewds but other choices as well, and if it's more heavily weighted towards one girl than the other then it either results in the other acknowledging that they think it best if they step aside and let the MC and the girl with the higher score be together, or it results in both girls feeling the same as the previous scenario, that his heart wasn't in it for both and since this was the whole point of what they entered into they feel they have to let him go.

A possible 3rd way it goes is that this simply gets dragged out until S4 because Ep 12 is the rebuilding episode and will be all about them recommitting to this after all the drama that's just happened kind of threw them off track and they weren't as focused on it as they should have been. So it won't be until the last season and maybe even near the end of the game before we see how it goes.

All Signs point to having to choose one of them. Even Mel talks about her throuple and how her friend is still with the guy and she left it. The MC Dad even points out that it is a bad idea. Even Derek is confused by it. It just isn't a relationship that is meant to work out for all three.
But Becky approves so...

DPC's "history" was one game and one game only. One instance of something happening is hardly enough to say it's a pattern in his storytelling. You wouldn't look at a movie like Jaws and say that all Steve Spielberg films were going to be like that. Good storytellers don't keep going back to the well and doing the same things over and over again. They might reuse some elements, but they'll craft a different story with them that has different outcomes, and in this case that different outcome can be a throuple that actually can work out.

As far as I'm concerned, DPC didn't make this a branch to be with 2 girls only for it not to work out. Imagine if any other MG branch didn't work out no matter what you did. Yes, there's only one girl you're with on that branch, but it's still a main branch and so it's expected you will get an ending with the girl. By the same token, the Josy and Maya branch is one where you're in a relationship with both of them. If you make choices that favour one over the other too heavily then I think you should expect something to happen whereby the throuple doesn't work out because of that, but if you've not done that and made other choices throughout that could be positive and beneficial for the relationship then I do believe it will result in an ending with both because that's what the branch is ostensibly for.

Just as the Sage, Bella, and Jill branches are for those girls respectively, the Josy and Maya branch is ultimately for both as that's what you're supposed to be getting into it for. So if the other MG branches get their endings then so too should there be an ending with Josy and Maya together. Otherwise DPC needn't have even bothered having this branch if he's just not going to fulfill what it's meant to be.

i don't think things will dag out past ep12 rather throuple makes it or breaks it will be decide this ep one way or another. This is going to be the big ep for there relationship. I've heard another Maya simp say because there a Josy and Maya path that means there most be a ending with both girls which makes me picture the Sydney Sweeney meme :ROFLMAO:.

I would be careful using such logic and clearly DPC has never given a damn about such logic. Could there be a path where the throuple is save and there a happy ending for all 3 sure I wouldn't put a cent on it after ep11 but maybe he setting something up with the "I choose not to say it yet option". What ever happens with the girls it going to decided this ep i feel like, only thing that will be left to decide will be if he gets final victory and gets his ending with one of them or both if that possible

MC to Jill: "Sweety, I put an extra pack in there for Bianca, can you see that she gets it?"

There will be no dinner (if DPC applies what happens in reality);

He lost part of his finger. It's not just a matter of going to the hospital, putting a bandage on the finger, and going home.

• The doctor needs to assess whether the blood vessels can be repaired and whether the affected part of the finger is in good condition to attempt a reimplantation.

• The surgeon needs to examine the amputated part, the finger stump, and the condition of the blood vessels. This takes time and is not a quick procedure.

• If there is a chance of reimplantation, Derek needs to be taken to the operating room. This surgery can last 2 to 6 hours.

• Overnight, the hospital may need to wait for the hand surgeon or the availability of the operating room. This can delay the procedure for hours.

• After any reimplantation attempt or complex procedure, Derek needs to be kept under observation for 8 to 24 hours. The reimplanted finger can lose circulation quickly, requiring immediate intervention.
MINIGAME OPORTUNITY!!!!!! FIX Derek's finger...(add 3 weeks to production schedule).

What if Tremolo is the one that gets kicked out of the throuple and M&J stay together? :KEK:

(I'm joking before anybody thinks that I'm a clown)
Open season for MC to fuck both their moms.
