I'm sure when James returns, it will be unexpected. Like when Jill caught them in the dining room.
A classic scene where the husband comes home and finds his wife with her lover. But in the end, everything will be fine, James will understand everything.

MC bringing coffee to visit Bella early in the morning. He shows up. There he can see through the window, James plowing Bella on the Kitchen table. :WeSmart:

I've read the last few pages, and I'll give you my opinion. I think, as someone who denied Josy and Maya all the playthroughs, I can be unbiased.
In my playthrough, Josy and Maya's relationship looks very bad. Since the end of episode 6, I don't remember any moments where they interacted well. They constantly argue and have secrets from each other. Josy clearly thinks more about the MC than about Maya, and she openly admits that she doesn't feel happy. Her detachment in episode 11 doesn't look good either. Maya is getting closer to Sage, and she seems to be more comfortable with her than with Josy.
To be clear, I don't care if they break up or not. I'm trying to be a good friend, and I'm choosing dialogue options that should strengthen their relationship. But honestly, the more I look at them, the more it seems like the best thing a good friend could do for them is to let them break up.
I understand that things are different in the throuple. The MC acts as a glue that holds them together. However, this is also a problem. If you need glue, it means that something is broken. The MC can do a lot to keep the throuple together, but he cannot make Josy love Maya, and he cannot make Maya love Josy. The moment where they count the number of times the MC has been with each of them is significant. If they trusted each other, they would not care about this.
When Josy and Maya have children, things will get much worse. It's only a matter of time before one of the girls decides that MC is paying less attention to her child (this may not be true, but maternal love is blind). Conflicts are inevitable. When I think about it, it starts to seem like the throuple is the worst route in the game.
If this were real life, I wouldn't bet even 5 dollars that they'd last long. But this is a game, and I think DPC will give the throuple a happy ending. I also think that Josy and Maya will have solo paths by rejecting the throuple (otherwise, the choice in the conversation with Derek in episode 5 doesn't make sense). However, I'm not sure if accepting the throuple and ignoring one of the girls is a good idea. It is possible that dally_x is right, and such players will be left alone.
I think they will be okay because its just a rough patch on their relationship. This is due to actually being with each other instead of being forced apart and they are trying to figure out what sticks.

Hell I will assume if you are on the not throuple route, they do make up at Bella's house. However in the throuple route, it gets complicated due to the MC being thrown in the mix and either favoring one party or balancing between them which is where the glue portion comes in.

Probably if we said ILY to one of them, it will put us down on that girl's route or if we did not say, we are put into the throuple route. It's a wait and see situation.

I think that breaking up or reconciling will be optional and will depend on various factors. If reconciliation is canon, then it closes the door to single paths. But in that case, why did DPC give players the opportunity to keep feelings for one of the girls in episode 5?

It's basically player dependent whether they break up or not. Because if you are on the others route and selected one or the other, they will comment on it in their hangout. On an additional note, this also applies to Sage where if you are on the others or Bella path, she will kiss you.

Also fits with Drama Pink Cake.

I've worked on art all week. I started by posing a 92-second-long cutscene animation, split across 29 animation files. That gave the animation queue a nice bump, and I continued working on art by posing static renders and more animations.

I've been working on both normal scenes and the big free roam event scenes. I've made some environment renders used for navigating the free roam and coded those environments, too.

I will be working on scenes in the free roam event in the upcoming weeks. Of those, I have 81 scenes left to create, which includes some scenes that only have partial or no writing - the majority is written. As mentioned last week, I estimated the static render count for the free roam event to be around 2900. I also need to pose animations for any lewd scenes that fall under the umbrella of the free roam event. I'll keep you updated on this progress weekly.

There are still scenes left to create outside the free roam event, but getting through this section now will be a big step forward for the episode's overall development. In terms of art, I'm 10-15% done with the free roam event.

281 static renders and 43 animations are in the render queue.

I'll have a fresh preview for you soon.

Have a nice weekend

I think Sage is a different situation, and it's a dead end that doesn't lead anywhere. If the MC wants Sage, he should choose her at the crossroads, that's all. But let's see, maybe I'm wrong.

As Always.... big thank you for posting this.

Not much to work with though... No real numbers for done animations. Static renders dont mean anything. If he wanted to, he could do the 2900 still renders in less than 2 months. In the past there were weeks where he pushed out 400 still renders per week. Those still renders are zero indication how the overall progress is. 281 static renders in the queue is basically nothing, they will be done in a week.

43 animations in the queue will take more than a month though... depends on how complex they are. It is what its is, the animation queue is what matters and the whole development process is based on that animation queue and the overall animation numbers DPC is aiming for will determine when the episode will be done. And for that we dont get many numbers... its been a while since he shared numbers on how many animations were done. In fact its been so long that its pretty much impossible to guess how many are done now. And we dont know how many animation he is planning either anymore... a long time ago (i think it was about 4 months ago) he said something about a bit more than 400. But lets be real, that number has increased... DPC adds stuff, always. So all the numbers will increase even further... it would be a surprise if we didnt reach close to 450 animations or even 500.

That said, episode 11 was released in march. Devolpment of episode 12 started before that, so... basically we are a bit more than 9 months into this DEV cycle. I guess its fair to say we hit "Bergfest" like we call it in germany, so... halfway through. Not much more, but not much less either... But that is just a wild guess in reality, cause DPC didnt shared new real numbers for such a while.

Last time he shared something like "real" numbers, he guessed that he is about 40-45% done with the episode, but to take that with a grain of salt. Knowing that he always adds stuff in the process... looking back i think at that time it was about 35% done. That was already more than 2 months ago if iam not mistaken...

Well whatever, i was just in the mood to speculate a bit, but i think with a september release in 2026 iam not that far off, went for that month a while now, will still hold onto it... hopefully its the latest possible date and he will be done earlier but i have a feeling that september is pretty realistic, maybe even a bit optimistic.

And if we're on the triple path with them, they don't break up. Just trust me. And you don't even need to read their dialogue in Bella's house. In that dialogue, DPC simply threw in a bit of philosophy about living in the present and not waiting for the problem with Patrick to end. And that Josie puts Maya's problems above her own, but she can't go on like that. It's about selfishness and freedom. (Josie is doing the right thing, she's not selfish.) Explaining this dialogue in more detail would be boring and uninteresting. It should be obvious to anyone who can read text.
If you see it that way, fine. But I think that if they have problems in their relationship without the MC (which is pretty obvious that they do), then those problems won't go away when he's with them. Josy and Maya's feelings for each other are something that the MC can't influence.

So depending on how complicated it is, that's Jan/Feb before this free roam is complete. However with 90 scenes and 3000 renders that's going to be a big chunk of what remains already given the previous episode had just over 7000 renders.

I think the only reason they won't split up together with Tremolo, is because of the game's logic. They'll either have to choose between continuing as a trio or going solo. But what you wrote is also correct; that's exactly how it would be in real life. This message makes more sense than all the blue boy posts.

It appears that the game is only half complete. It's been about 9 months. That means we can safely add another 9 months and expect the release in August-September 2026.
Plus the time to prepare for the Steam release, which means the game will only be released on Steam in October-November when all the big studios are releasing their games.
I don't know what he's hoping for by releasing the game on Steam during the sales season when the hype has clearly died down.

Because we can start Josie's solo path in episode 12, when Maya and Josie break up. This is for those who haven't been on the M+J path.
It's the same as starting Sage's path with either guitar lessons or a HOTs party.
Perhaps DPC wants to pull the same trick with Sage when we kiss her on the "Others" path when her parents divorce.
