I'm not making fun of you. I genuinely enjoy seeing your posts. Your specific brand of pettiness is refreshing because you will literally go against everyone just because you can. I love it. Whether my opinions differ from yours or align with others, that's irrelevant. I might think Quinn is the hottest, or Sage, or Bella, or Jade, or Madame Rose, and you might think I'm a dumbass for that. I might think I'm superior to everyone else on this thread, and I could make a far greater game than DPC, and you might call me a delusional asswipe for that. My point is, I don't expect anyone to share my opinion. I check this thread so often because I enjoy reading through it, and you're one of the reasons why. As I said before, keep it up (y)
Man you are on point,i enjoy THIS thread with some popcorn and a beer and enjoy the show.

Your acknowledgement is plenty :BootyTime:
Being noted by El_Magnifico and felicemastronzo is a mark of honor, they both only respond to troll us. :KEK:

We got our first preview(s) in a month :HideThePain:
34 fucking days actually. I really hope we are back to a more healthy time wait now, because I was going insane here after all this time without a preview.

I'll admit, it has been a bit of "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?" (I'll let you figure out which is which but it should be obvious ;)), but that can sometimes be the nature of a conversation; neither side backing down and someone always coming back with something else to say. And yeah, points get repeated but that also just has to happen sometimes too, another essence of discussion and debate, and with a forum like this it can stretch out a while because of how long it might take someone to get back to you. All of which is kind of what a discussion forum/thread is all about, right? At least in principle.
I respect your drive and the fact you put up lots of efforts in your posts, but I do admit the topic got a bit too repetitive in the end.

Of course I can't complain much, this is a public forum and folks here gotta stand my eccentricities from time to time, its only fair I do the same.

Still no preview for Josy?

LET'S GO!

She actually appeared in preview 2

And her mother in preview 8 :sneaky:

I like both options on the dress glad he decided to go this way. That said it's an odd pose. The angel makes it look like the table is below her knee. I guess she is wearing heels. While i'm moaning about DPC and his decisions decided in the week to do the Josy favouring run on MJ path. Got right to episode 11 and I'd made it balanced again some how. FFS have to go all the way back to a save I made in episode 7 to undo it. Such a stupid bit of design.
My problem with the preview is the table assets appearing a bit low quality while next to Maya's model, it appears that the elements here dont quite fit together.

Might be just me, but it was I thought after the high of the preview passed.

Maya is a Goddess:love::love::love:
She is looking amazing here, cannot wait to see what EP 12 has in store for her.

Personally, no. I think they make each other much more interesting. Josy especially, who can feel a bit generic when compared to the other girls.
I'm expecting that Josy will get some much deserved focus and development in 12, expect plenty of relationship stuff and family history next update.

We already know she likes to get freaky at parties without fully undressing so I expect nothing less from her this time

If we could also get midnight kiss scene with Maya while Josy stands in the corner with her drink and just watches it would be a cherry on the top for me.
Huh, never did realize Maya had a lewd scene in all parties she attended in season 3, excluding Bella's of course.

Excellent find and that gives me high hopes for 12...

The dress NEEDS to be in a lewd scene.

That tends to happen, yes. And the Maya/Josy situation kind of invites it. To me it seems like DPC is portraying their relationship as something on the edge of falling apart because their fate is meant to be in the hands of the player. They can fix it, but if the player makes certain choices, they won't.

After ep 10 I thought getting the documents would be a deciding factor in Maya and Josy staying together whether you were on their path or not and I only got more confident of that after playing ep 11. How intricate it gets beyond that is something I can't tell. I see a lot of options that would certainly be interesting, but I also kind of hope some of them won't be part of the game as it would just up the branching even further.

That's what I'm hoping. I do like Josy. She's a cutie pie. I just don't think she could a carried a solo route with what she's had going on so far. A lot of Maya's story becomes redundant with Josy out of the picture too, so I don't think she works as a solo route from the start either. They only really work as a pair, so far.

The next preview will be.....Nora!
I'm betting Jade or Nora, both of them are most likely getting content in EP 12 either by skipping the previous EP (Nora) or some hints in the last update (Jade & Cathy 3some)

Hmm…
I’m going to guess… Derek!
Risky bet, male characters in a preview are quite rare.

Lets hope EP 12 fixs that, while I prefer Maya overall I would prefer them all together.

In my very first save Maya & Josy were the ones who I was most interested,so the EP 3 cliffhanger really got me lol.

Something I was a bit disappointed in 11 was how little the contract mattered, lets see if that will still have consequences.

This thread is almost home to me, gotta love it.

Except people who can't read the first page info, those are the worse...

Well, whilst she's still somewhat tied to Patrick if you don't get them, he factually has no power over her. They might not find that out if you don't get them, but he's given up trying to control her and threaten her college education as seen at the end of Ep 11 when Maya and Derek go see him. So although it was all a bit of a lame duck in the end, it might not be much of a factor since she doesn't have anything to worry about anymore.

Also, when you think about it, she kind of chose Josy over Patrick in that moment, finally. This whole ultimatum incident was kind of about that; her Dad making her choose between obeying him and dumping Josy, or staying with Josy and risking her college future. She was torn between these 2 things and that certainly could have been a factor in this rift between the girls because Josy would have wanted Maya to just choose her outright but instead she couldn't choose and so it probably made Josy feel less important. But in Ep 11 if you didn't get the papers, she's essentially finally decided that she doesn't care what her Dad may do to her now because she's tired of fighting him and so she choose Josy here, chose not to let her Dad get in their way with his threat. But Josy didn't like it because she still doesn't like the idea of Maya being beholden to him and having some control over her, but Maya's essentially just said, "fuck it", and is choosing not to care what he might do to her anymore, so it's her finally taking a stand against him. It just didn't feel good in that moment for Josy, but once she realises Patrick has relented then maybe they can move past it.

A relationship where both people are capable of cheating is destined to fail, in my opinion.
Not sure I agree with you here. Cheating always is an option. You just have to choose whether or not to do that unless the developer avoids including those choices as an option for you...
There's different degrees of cheating, really, and not all are equal in terms of being at risk of repeating.

For example, you've got the serial/opportunistic ones which we all know about; people who just can't keep it in their pants and cheat because they can and because they can't resist the call of the flesh. They're definitely the worst kind because they have no remorse for what they do. Then you have those who do emotional affairs when they feel a loss of connection, love, and intimacy with their current partner due to a breakdown in the relationship and can be drawn to someone they feel is giving them what they've lost. This is the category Josy and Maya fall into but doesn't mean that people in that category will do that again. Those who have gone through it and given in to that once should be able to recognise the signs if there's a next time and at least make more of an effort to fix the problems before it gets out of hand, and if they can't then they will do the right thing and break it off before moving on to someone else.

Obtaining her documents remains a crucial factor. Maya is now free and continues to thrive. This was evident in Maya's reaction during her conversation with Josy.

Looks to me like a rather private New Year's Eve celebration and not a huge party with over 80 guests.
It's 100% going to be the 87 character NYE freeroam event because that's what he's currently working on right now and this looks exactly like it. Plus, it's just one small narrow angle of the whole thing. The other 86 people are on the other side of the camera :ROFLMAO:

Also, DPC said this will have "new environments" so they could all be scattered in different areas.
