You have to take into account that DPC started developing ep12 way earlier than ep11 was released and that his minions also need around a month to thoroughly test the game beforehand. Besides, June 17 doesn't even fall on Friday. Around mid-January DPC told us to have begun writing and coding for ep12 and about 4 weeks later he had enough images and animations ready to start rendering. If DPC continues at the same pace, the episode could be ready for testing by some time in July. However, there's also an unknown factor - a stack of brand new GPUs. We don't know much the upgraded hardware will be able to accelerate the development moving forward. In theory it could be roughly around 30%, so perhaps you accidentally did shout out an approximately correct release date

mpa's BigTable is still a Summer prediction, which has always felt most likely.

September release seems to have become an article of faith out of nowhere, and even then some still randomly say "December 2026" which is just patently absurd.

At this point we still have a good chance of starting the new year with the biggest single "event" of the game being finished.

And this may well be the case - season 4 may well include Episode 13, an episode that is just dedicated to tying everything up and ending it. then two epilogues showing what happens next. Or something similar to this. There's definately an opportunity for symmetry, but given he's never told us what the plans for 4 are other than it may be different, means that count can go up or down.

It may have started as a bit of blind faith, given that a lot of the September talk came from the previous dev cycle plus 3 months. But as he started to drop more information that September date became a little more likely with the info given to use.

I'd argue that date has moved forward a little since it the recent update but not by much.

It'll never be the April or May that some people have suggested
June is doable based on the data we have, but a bit unlikely
July/August seems the likely option now, but again we are always working on guesses based on a dev who doesn't like to give us decent information

I think it makes sense that she won't because DPC is going to keep her state after the door reveal a secret. Seeing her in any way shape or form in the present day gives away too much about how she's feeling after that.
