I think it makes sense that she won't because DPC is going to keep her state after the door reveal a secret. Seeing her in any way shape or form in the present day gives away too much about how she's feeling after that.

It usually takes the developer of this game a little over a year, so there won't be a new update for this game sooner until April, May, or June.

Sure, there's a good chance she does still get a lewd, unless what the room reveals puts her into a depressive mood and she stays in that the whole episode and won't be up for any lewdness. But I think a preview in the present day of any kind isn't too likely because I think DPC will want to keep hidden how she's feeling after all that. Even showing her looking sad or depressed would probably be too much of a spoiler and if he were to show her in any sort of positive state then it takes the sting out of that cliffhanger ending before we even find out what it's all about because it will make it seem like it's no big deal.

It may have started as a bit of blind faith, given that a lot of the September talk came from the previous dev cycle plus 3 months. But as he started to drop more information that September date became a little more likely with the info given to use.

I'd argue that date has moved forward a little since it the recent update but not by much.

It'll never be the April or May that some people have suggested
June is doable based on the data we have, but a bit unlikely
July/August seems the likely option now, but again we are always working on guesses based on a dev who doesn't like to give us decent information

It's always been very blind faith because it was September as the most likely which was always a bit of a stretch as it'd be DPC taking another three months on top of usual inflation when there's been no causes for that increase as in prior cycles (such as bereavement or machines going down).

At present it's basically a bell curve with late-June to Mid July as the most likely and April and September as the very outside chances either way.

He said he's 60% done. If the pacing remains consistent, as it usually does, then we can assume the 9 months we've waited so far is longer than the time left to wait. Between 6-8 months left, with 9 being the most if he takes his time wrapping it up with testing. This time next year, we'll all be guesstimating whether or not the next season will start by Christmas 2027 or not.
