Except the 60% done (if its really accurate number) isn't based on just 9 months of work.

DPC started working on 12 before 11 released, so we can add 1 or 2 months to its total dev time.

If we assume 11 months of actual dev time to reach 60% progress we are looking at a 18 months cycle and a september release.

A bit ealier if he didn't have 2 full months before march, but it won't be too far from that.

A couple of weeks worth of outlining and essentially story boarding (while touching up the last little bit of the previous episode) is not the same as 100% dedication to full on rendering and writing dialogue.

You think DPC sent out chapter 11 to beta testers and got it back from them and announced the launch date and still had a week or two's worth of renders left to get done?

Or do you think his render farm was mostly working on Episode 12 renders during the period while the completed Episode 11 was being tested, with only one or two machines reserved for fixing any broken or missing renders?

I know which one I consider to be more likely.
