Is this a screenshot from an earlier version of the game? Did the UI get refreshed at any point for S1&S2, or is this purely from the mod?

I jumped in on Ep10 so how it is now is how it's always been to me

To me SGs who are LIs are characters who've had genuine character development in relation to a relationship when it comes to Fuckface. So Nicole, Nora, Quinn, Jade, Lily, and Sally for example. Characters like Becky are just sex scenes. They may have multiple instances of this but that's all they appear in where any convo before hand is basically "proceed to sex".
Still, it's a bit odd to me to consider a girl who allows the MC to have sex with others a LI. I believe there are currently six confirmed LIs in the game: Sage, Josy, Maya, Bella, Jill, and Zoey. Quinn, Riona, Lily, and Nicole are close to becoming LIs and will likely become so in the coming updates. I'm not sure about the others. Some don't seem interested in anything more than sex, and some may simply not have enough time, since season 4 will be the last.

I also decided to look into the anti-mod stuff because I wanted to make a few mods to skip over annoying bits when replaying (Fights when not using minigames, beer pong when not using it etc, cleaning up after halloween etc).

I was under the impression that the game used some sort of checksum to verify that the files haven't been tampered with or something complex.

It turns out that Scrappy's mod declares the variable that DPC checks for. When you load a save, it sets the variable "persistent.mod_wtenabled = True", it then checks whether that variable is set to true before displaying the point gains or whatever.

So theoretically, someone could just make a walkthrough mod that doesn't touch the persistent and it'll be effectively undetectable. I might do that actually..

Dear fans of Being a DIK,

Unfortunately we regret to inform you that all development of this game has come to an end following the detention of Dr Pinkcake by the United States following an illegal raid on his residence. We know this may come as a shock to you all but please be assured that there were only two great loves of Dr Pinkcake in life, that of his beloved Venezuela and the community that had come to surround the groundbreaking games he developed.

As a parting gift we are pleased to announce a special series of renders of Madam Rose, intended to be released upon the completion of the game, will be released tomorrow. This character was always close to Dr Pinkcake's heart, whose oily skin was a fitting tribute to the great source of wealth of the Bolivarian Revolution.

or you could just use UCD & URM

I use URM religiously on every game.

I don't care about the points descriptions on walkthrough mods, I like(d) the walkthrough mods because I can skip through shit like the minigames I don't like, I like Brawler for example, but if I want to use Brawler, I have to do the shitty lesson mini games that I have no interest in.

My general point was, people who like the walkthrough mods, it's a real easy solution to stop this whole game of cat and mouse that happens on release and stop people moaning that their game crashes.

And like i said in the initial post, my investigation started because I wanted to skip over the BS I find tedious, for example the fighting portions that are forced on you in Season 3, they are horrible with minigames disabled, there is quite literally no hint or guidance on which button is the correct one, at least with Tennis you can piece it together if you know the slightest bit about Tennis

Maya, Josy, Sage, Bella, Quinn, Riona, Camila, Sarah, Melanie, Jade, Lily, Nicole, Sandy, Rose, Tara.
Sage, Bella, Maya, Josy, Quinn, Riona, Camila, Sara, Mel, Lily, Jade, Nicole, Tara and Oily Manatee. That is all I remember.
Thank you both. Maya does it in the threesome with Josy, right? I probably forgot, because If the option was there I definitely took it. Bella and Jade escaped me, but I´m remembering now seeing those scenes. I must not have made it that far with the others.

We know a week ago it was at 10-15 scenes remaining out of the 75-80 IIRC at the start of December.

Either way it means that basically we're now at Episode 11 length, we already knew from the October "progress" timeline the first half of the episode's chronology in terms of scenes (though not size thereof) was already completed, and this party probably takes up the majority of the back half of the episode.

So we're definitely getting to the home stretches now.

Edit: Went back and found it, it is from September (not October) and basically I'm assuming that the two big undone segments in the latter half are basically the party, with the two small already "completed" scenes being the cutaways we tend to get in them.

then 1 green chunk is a opening + ending cliffhangers, and 2 - some dorm free-roam like it was in 10-11(girls' dorm mb, coz heather's menu pic wasnt in game yet(all pic were) + last time we were here in 7ep(10th one was with a shortened version), then before party we will go sexually visit some girls e.g. Nicole, Nora and Cathy, PinkRose + mb one of MG and see some interactions e.g. with Sally, Cindy, Zoey.
The penultimate one mb also again a micro free-roam

My vague criteria, whoever can get episode ending screen pic is a LI. and those who cannot are not yet.
Where do people draw that line? Obviously all main girls are love interests and also obviously not all side girls are, but which side girls count and why? It seems to me the argument is more often about that definition than the actual story presence of the girl in question.
To be honest, the distinction between MGs and SGs has become increasingly blurred since Season 3. I believe that starting from Ep12, more and more girls will establish relationships with MC and receive that ending scene, just like Zoey at the end of Ep11.
Therefore, I think anyone who has the potential to develop a romantic relationship with MC can be considered as "LI", though the timing may vary.
