Her husband is a complete ass and part of a criminal enterprise. How would she fair if she was with someone that was a better match? She, like Stephen are selfish. But in her case, at her age, things could change. People of the same age group screw up relationships but I think her and MC would be good for each other. She could see the side of an actual caring relationship. I don't think DPC will play it that way though. She is for the purpose of the story, expendable.
As you rightly said, Jade is selfish, and I'd add that she's also very dominant. If a guy is comfortable with submissiveness, then maybe Jade would be a good partner.
But i agree that she is for the story and motential plot bomb for MC on Sage path, can't see her as long-term partner. Same with other SG teachers, the only well developed line with mature women is MC/Bella.

Oh...
Sure...
But what about Yennefer?

I can talk a lot on that topic, but let's not trigger the mods.

Okay, so, totally speculative question; if there were a chance of playing another D&G campaign, who would you want to run it (DM) and who would you invite to the table to play?
I think Bella would make a great DM

I'd like to actually see Sage added to the game

I wonder if Lily would play?

How do relationships work in this game? There are main girls and side girls from what I can see but once you pick a path like Maya/Josy or Sage etc. are you then limited in what you can explore further down the line? Or will it cause drama because you're a filthy cheater? Or only the main romances matter and you are free to explore side romances without affecting the main story much?

There will be a point later in the game that you'll have to choose some path do take. Cheating only becomes a major thing in season 3, don't worry about it beforehand (assuming you're already past that Josy/Maya situation).

There are some things that happens before season 3 regarding the cheating situation, but I would say it's better not to know.

Derek as the DM would be funny in a chaotic way for all of 20 minutes, but I see it going 1 of 2 ways. Either a) he runs out of material really quickly because it took him an hour to write and he thought it would take an hour to play, leaving the game to fall flat, or b) the plot is absolute nonsense to follow and everyone gets bored halfway through. I don't think he'd be all that enjoyable.

Sally is obviously the most experienced, but also if she's DMing we can't spank her or use her as a projectile weapon, so that's a bust. I actually think Zoey would make a great DM if she sat down and tried - she's very creative but also knows how to go with the flow, so I think she could write a really solid little adventure and then be adaptive enough to run it so long as she had a general idea of what she was doing.

As for the party, Sally is an obvious must, and I think Jill's fine to keep with us. Part of me does want to see how Bella would play, but I also suspect she'd manage to bulldoze every problem by just thinking about them logically in ways that a bunch of college students wouldn't really think of. I think Sage would be fun to have play, so long as she's having a good time. It doesn't really seem like her kind of game, but I think she'd be down to join with friends; so for our purposes, we'll just have to assume she and Zoey are on good terms whenever this happens. For the final member... Riona, I guess? She loves the arcade, so pen and paper probably isn't too tall a task for her. I think she'd at least be open to it.

First 8 episodes you can, generally speaking here, 'go nuts'. Fuck who you want, when you want. But after that point, the MC has a realisation that it's not substainable and either commits to one of the MG paths and becomes their Boyfriend. Which you can then have him start to cheat on them immediately, earning him 'Cheating Points' by lightly flirting and touching other girls. But not a lot of actual cheating atm with those paths.

Or he can decide to give up on all the MGs, and instead focus on the 'Others' Path. So he can stay being single for now, and keep fucking around with all the side girls.

Once you pick a Main Girl, you're locked in and won't be able to fuck other girls. That being said, Season 3 has introduced the ability to cheat, and so far it's little stuff—ranging from being too flirty, to a little third base play. Full-blown cheating isn't available yet, and the points you get from this behavior hasn't greatly affected much.
Except for when it came to Maya. Cockblocker… :cautious:
Maya and MC can focus solely on having sex with each other in the game to piss off Derek ;)

Sage enjoys tabletop games, I think this would be in her wheelhouse.
