Goddamn it, I really wanna finish Ep 3 so i can join in on the discussion but every time I play i fap at any sex scenes and need to wait another 2-3 days to reset. How do you guys deal with this

Yeah she doesn't seems like a woman who cheats, even with MC it seems more that her body its acting on her own, sure she started to like the guy but she is doing her best to hold back she even started to cry,that line MC saying he wouldn't kiss her that night and would ask for help if he knew back them what he knows now, that line made me think that her husband is dead and she can't accept that he is dead, or the guy is in really bad shape or m.i.a, or he leaved her for another woman

I'm pretty sure it works if you do it. And you never did tell how much RAM you have and whats your OS.

So anyway. Its the walkthrough mod that keeps crashing your game. Easiest solution is to don't use it. BUT if you used it and games keep crashing it means it messed up the file called "persistent" in your save folder. Now thats a pretty important file. So it doesn't matter if you start a new game, if that file is messed up it will keep crashing.

So the solution is that you delete the persistent file. There is both of those. In both save folder. One save folder is within the game's directory. The other is in the C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\BeingaDIK folder. You may not see this location because the AppData folder is by default hidden by windows. You can set it to appear or you just simply manually write the location into the header, that will open it for you.

From there delete the whole BaDIK folder. With saves and all. Then detele the game itself. With saves and all. Re-extract it. Launch it. This will create a new persistent file. Forget the mod (for now) and try if it keeps crashing on you or not.

Just did what you said and it keeps crashing. Windows 7, 300gb free space, 4gb ram. It crashes when the game gets around 1.44gb of ram. Already update the codecs either.
Any other idea? I really want to play ep3.... never had any problem playing ep 1 or 2 or Acting Lessons. And i never played with the walktrought mod.

my theory is that isabella cheated with jade on her husband, then her husband leaved and she is waiting for him, feeling sorry for having cheated... is a wild guess but we know jade did have some kind of thing with isabella after we Heard jades husband say so...
(that may be why her bio say she was married and not still married...or widowed...)

You are wrong on that. The dialogue between Jade and Stephen implies they tried to "spice things up" by inviting Isabella but she refused, likely for being married.

By the way, there is a picture of Tybald in their house. Wonder if he is their son.

I'm pretty sure i tried the things you said yesterday nothing worked.

here is what I did to fix this. I kind of figured it had to be with the CHEAT that was messing things up. I had to load the CHEAT to the new game as well, follow the steps as outlined in the CHEAT......unren,...copy to the main folder (game folder replaces the other game folder)
i started a new game and got to the part where it asked me for my name, type in your player name then go to the next screen and make a save.
from here load any of your past saves and it should work with no errors.

No i downloaded the driver but when i try and use set up it says "Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"

Then you are, quite simply, screwed. The only thing you can do is try "playing" with the compatibility options. Right click on the .exe. Properties at the buttom and Compatibility tab in there. Try several variants. If nothing works then there is nothing to be done. Drive update is mandatry. Try looking for older version untill you find someone that works.

And keep in touch with one of the stuff members you were in conversation with if possible because this is definitely a driver issue after that factory reset you just did. Good luck.

You run out of memory quite simply. That 1.44GB usage is huge. That spec you described? That can't take it. I'm not sure it suppose to eat up that much memory

Just checked the last scene with Rena, in Acting Lessons and it got 800Mb of ram. 1.44 is really high. Man, it's sad. 3 months of waiting and my old laptop just can't handle

There are methods to try and fix memory leak on Win7. But thats your homeworks guys. Start googling how to fix memory leaks. There are several youtube video guides too. Definitely don't forget to read commentsections there.

I wanted to thank Dr PinkCake for a superb game. Having played a good number of games from f95, I thought nothing would top Babysitter but this new episode (episode 3) of Being a DIK has got me absolutely hooked.
Great story, many different paths, lots of excellent sex scenes, some banging tunes and some enjoyable storyline tags (see spoiler)

Seems more like there is some trauma there rather than a case of cheating. The more obvious would be the husband is dead, missing or in a hospital with some incurable disease.

Personally I think the "being faithful to the memory of a dead husband" theory makes the most sense. In act 2 when the MC ends up drunk at her place and kisses her, afterwards in her bed she's thinking:

I'm with you on that. I'll even guess that the military guy the MC saw while piss drunk at Isabella's that turned out to be a mannequin could be like a ghost. Not saying it will turn supernatural, just a little tongue-in-cheek clue as to why Bella is like she is.
