I'll try to break it down in numbers based on the info we have.
Compared to 0.3 around half of the static renders are done. 80% of 0.3's amount of animations are done, including the absolutely longest one so far. However, this is not a figure set in stone, but based on the status updates I'd guess around 130 animations will be featured in 0.4.
The social media apps are redone, Derek's route is done. This weekend he has continued on the free roam, apparently Bella's route.
In last week's update he estimated the total update to be 60% done. Two weeks ago he said 70% of the script was written. Assuming 10% progress a week, it should be at 90% now.
Render count is still quite "low", seems to be proceeding at 100 renders a week. As animations and free roams are the most time-consuming, I guess when the animation queue starts to dry out, the static renders count will go up rapidly I guess.
It's November, in Northern Europe the dreariest and most disliked month, and this will also be only his first month as a pro. So what else to do but to work on the game? I'm still hopeful for a November release.

I cant vote its too hard too choose one over the other at this early point of the game
It will be too close to call it down the middle everyone of them girls have some good and bad points
Will cast a vote on favorite when I know a bit more about all of them probally in episode 6
At this point I like most of them equally and yes even Quinn lol

I think we still need to know just that little bit more about them, I'm hoping after the next update that we will get a bit more character development with all the girls so it sets us up nicely for season 2.

That's what I been saying a lot already that's the game is still in the early stages so cant really expect to know everything from everyone in this game since we just in episode 3 and seeing how many characters this game has.
Every update DPC needs to make choices on wich characters he will show more content off,Becaus if u wanted every character to have new content and story in every single update then we would be looking at a 6 month release perhaps more
As for this coming one u can almost be sure we will see most content involving women and girls with the hell week assignments
Then some story involving the 3 doors
And we got maybe a small or big scene involving the whole Josy and Maya situation
We will definatly get a scene with the teachers my money is on Jade since we have had the most progress with her
Definatly the Jill date as well
Anything else i dont see happening but he might surprise us
But considering the amount of stuff he already wanted to put in this coming update
And how he even stated he didnt know he could fit it all but didnt want to hold back stuff or make it seemed rushed
While still trying to maintain his release timeline like its been these previous updates
All i can say its gonna be either like regular or we might have to wait maybe two weeks more and see a late december release
I personally would like DPC to take his time and make this end episode of this season be as filled and gud as can be
So if that means we gonna wait a bit more i be more then happy but even then i still see a release happening definatly december seeing we mostly waiting on the animations and renders while the story is mostly done.
