It's cool to see all the debates, arguments and predictions here. Though you all have interesting thoughts, I must remind you to put your faith in DPC. Trust that the story will be close to perfection, that he will make all the right decisions on how the plot will play out. If you need any reassurance, think of Acting Lessons. It has easy the best storyline for an adult game ever. All you complaining about how you don't like some characters development, just be patient and trust that it will all make sense in the end.

I was kind of hoping he would get some different ones or if he is just sticking with certain songs for certain scenes and characters it seems 'all of the pieces' going to be Bella's theme.

Not every episode has 2 choices. Ep.4 had only one and maybe later episodes won't have a major choice at all. We don't know yet.

Thanks, cap. That's why I said "might". What I meant is that system kinda tells us that we're close to the midpoint. I don't think that DPC have plans about changing the affinity system and yet we've got 2 major choices in the last ep. Both were about hitting someone to a 4 in total of 9 so far which is fairly boring, I hope we'll see something more complicated in the future updates (probably some more drugs taking incoming anyway though).

It's highly unlikely that DPC will make any significant changes about current episodes so it's more than fair to evaluate them for what they are right now. Thus nothing in the future episodes will change their flaws, which is fine. It's fine to like this game and still be able to point out any kind of flaws, calm your fanboism down, please.

If you need any reassurance, think of Acting Lessons. It has easy the best storyline for an adult game ever. All you complaining about how you don't like some characters development, just be patient and trust that it will all make sense in the end.

It was alright but pretentious as fuck and far too grim for an adult game in the opinion of many. So yeah, nice reassurance Personally so far I like this game much more than AL.

Earlier in the game you get a choice where you can choose to warn her about Quinn or do something else (i dont remember, but it doesn't matter). The choice leads to nothing and she doesn't change her opinion about the tuition at all (and you dont get any relationship points either if im correct). I would assume that she would find out about the tuition thing anyways some point in the game.

Actually it does lead to a short scene of Maya approaching Sage at the HOTs pool. She doesn’t get to say much because Quinn interrupts. This decision is almost certainly going to have an impact down the line (it’s specifically noted in the official walkthrough). There are other moments like this that I would imagine are being tracked in the background but won’t pay off until later chapters.

Another example I can think of is Derek and Camilla. He asks if it’s foolish to pursue her. I think this answer will likely play in to Derek x Ashley later on. Similarly the way you treat Ashley in the Steam room will probably have an impact. Possibly one of the reasons she is crying in episode 5 (others being finding out about the prostitution and Derek fucking the feminist).

i think the major decisions will impact the MC while the more minor ones will impact others.

I’d be very disappointed if this follows the same or similar ending to Acting Lessons. This game is Porkies, American Pie, Road Trip, Blue Mountain State and Undeclared Attempted rape, arson, murder and tragedy should have no place here. isn’t to say their shouldn’t be drama and consequences, just those consequences shouldn’t be at odds with the genre.

Ok, I finally finished the 5th episode last night, cause I was too busy before, and it was amazing!

I don't know why, before starting, I had this irrational fear that maybe DPC could have lost his magic touch, because it's not easy to always keep the quality so high... Well, it was irrational indeed, I had so much fun! And the sex scenes hot as always! And the flashbacks so interesting... Definitely worth the wait!

And who could imagine the preps party could be so funny... Jeez, good thing Derek activated the fire sprinklers and washed that place a little, the preps mansion was turning into a cum dump...

Also, I didn't expect to get so emotional when officially being accepted among the DIKs and especially when receiving the jacked... Wow! Great moment!

So "major choice scale" has only 24 points and by the end of 5ep we're already forced to cut 9 of them off. By cutting only two more which might be possible in the next episode it could mean losing entire affinity side provided we were choosing the same direction every time. I'm calling it a simple hint to expect 12 episodes, plus maybe some epilogue episode w/o any affinity choices.

You have a valid point in this one, is was wondering myself about this too. if you purely focusing on just one path, you indeed only 2 choices left.

DPC did an Q and A in february, and based on how he talked about the game and his plans, is dont think we are even close to the middle part of the game.

this probably false assumtion , but let's say this is actually a full 4 year college experience. I could see that may be the major choice scale is actually gonna be reseted, in each year. like you start fresh. it will still consider you previously major choices for the finale out come, but each year you start fresh.

You know the , " this year will be different" statements. I assume we all had this feeling in our school experience. "This year i would do things differently "I focus more on study", " i will be less jerk", "I will not pining for the same girl ". etc etc.

it is a big, IF. but DPC seems to have some grandiose plans for this game

With the money he's earning and what he can pay off if he does good translations for steam, I think it's a lousy decision, other renpy games have been officially translated into steam with a lot less resources, dpc is very bright creating stories but sometimes it feels like being a little vain

That´s because the fly on the coin Tommy held in his hand was not a fly but a bee - the symbol of the ancient city of Ephesos. Check their coins they all bear that bee symbol. So if there was a connection Quinn should have had a bee beneath her eye ... haha ..
