Yes, it will be here on the day it is released on Patreon. Also, DPC doesn't do public beta versions; what gets released is the "Gold" version.
That is great to know that he just does the full release of the game. Not PUB beta, from what I saw of the game so far it is spot on. Does old save work once you patch, update the game?

Clean saves will work, but saves made when you've used the mod will not.

It is however possible that, due to some of the coding mentioned in the changelog, that older saves from earlier episodes may not work or may not be at the exact spot they're supposed to be.

I've been playtesting and polishing the game and the PCs are rendering animations.

16 animations remain in the render queue.

The speed right now is ~8 animations per week. A few demanding animations are left in the queue and some easy ones as well.

Based on this, it looks like beta testing will start in late October/early November.

Beta testing is allotted 2 weeks, but if great results are achieved earlier than that, the release date will be earlier too.

November is going to be the month of release, but at what date I can't say accurately yet.

Next Friday, I will post a preliminary changelog for Episode 6.

If you need a fresh version of the game, you can .

If you want to download the entire full version on the release date, that's fine too. But be advised, servers will likely be slower due to the high demand and the full version is ~11GB.

The patch on the other hand is ~3.0 GB.

For uploading, I will be using multiple hosts as always, to give you alternate mirrors to download from.

  • Fixed bad variable names, episode 1-5, overriding a python library.
  • Your affinity will now be displayed in conjunction with major choices.
  • Fixed a bug with the number of scenes displayed in the Stats app that could be unlocked in episode 5.
  • Fixed a misalignment issue of the gallery for an Episode 5 mixed special render.
  • Revamped the episode title and ending overlays for episodes 1-6.

Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to your results! I just want to be ready for the long march to Episode 7, assuming we somehow survive 2020.


it does not seem to me that they have ever fought for this relationship:
with Maya's father they surrendered, and now they are hanging on a free tuition that seems to be a mirage,
in their long-distance relationship they have given up due to various misunderstandings that we we do not know,
at the first temptation they both surrendered, Maya even changed sexual orientation for the occasion,
when they found each other they surrendered again waiting for MC to clarify their past behavior.

no one is always fighting, and some of these battles they couldn't win, but they didn't fight any.

they are still together for a series of coincidences.
the fact that MC was the lover of both saved their relationship.

MC's outburst of anger, however excessive and misdirected, is a sign of love, of passion, which they lack

the whole human condition is linked to an intrinsic weakness, but fortunately not all relationships are as fragile as that of Maya and Josy
I think it might be more accurate to say neither has ever fought effectively for the relationship. Maya's whole odyssey to get free tuition started as a way to protect the relationship from her father. She clearly put herself through things she would never have done ordinarily as part of that.

Is this a smart way to go about it? I would say no, even given porn-game logic. But it does convince me that Maya was willing to metaphorically bleed for the relationship, at least at first. We don't know if Josy did anything similar. The revelation that she knew full well the MC had a crush on her when she went on that first date doesn't speak well to her motivation, but it's possible she was near her limit by then.

In any case, I do agree their relationship is extremely fragile. It took the MC to get them to really address what had happened to them, and even then they are STILL keeping secrets if the MC goes the friendship route.

Personally, I'm hoping this is simply a mechanism to make it possible for the MC to date them individually without having to break them up himself. If he encourages them to work through their problems and start working together (with or without him in the mix), they can patch things up and learn to trust each other properly. If he keeps his distance, their relationship will eventually collapse and he'll be left to help each girl pick up the pieces (again, with or without him in the mix).

Hopefully we'll be a big step to seeing how this will unfold soon. <knock on wood>

Might reeavluate them before ep 7, though. I didn't exclude the free-roam renders and I think I should just keep it to the main game renders. Won't change character totals, but will give a better idea of the percentage of renders each LI has.
