The current update (baring major delays in testing, approximately 4 months) will have taken less time than the last (approximately 6 months). I can't be bothered to check, but I'm fairly sure four months has been typical for BADik, which, given the quality, is hardly out of line.

Last new episode was in June. So 5 months. Episodes usually come out around 3 to 4 months. So it's a little late.

Look at it from all angles, the progress is indeed getting slower but at the same time we are getting more and better content with alot more animations as dr.pinkcake keeps on improving his skills.

It's an issue inherent in all adult games because it has become the nature of them that the MC is a babe magnet who attracts all girls to him, even ones who are not LIs and therefore don't have a path to an ending with them. Even when devs try to strike a balance by making it clear that the MC and a random side girl have no future together, players still push for it, just as they will sometimes push for girls who were never going to be with the MC to be with, i.e. KRJ.
In terms of "the most talked plot problem", I think it does relate to this very thing because a major issue was the fact that he wasn't the central figure in that moment. M&J both seem to forget he's there for a moment as they have their inexplicably and unbelievably quick reconciliation, and whilst these 2 were/are in a relationship, the MC perhaps should have been the central figure because not only was he the one to clear the air and try to bring them all together, but he was also the person they both developed feelings for and had their "affair" with.
For the MC to not feel central in that moment goes against conventional adult game storytelling, and sometimes it feels like this is what DPC is wanting to do, but it doesn't always seem to work for them. AL tried to do this too with the death of a LI and it proved highly controversial, even if DPC is still happy with that decision, but as much as they keep seemingly wanting to try and reinvent the wheel, I don't think most players want that. So DPC is walking a very fine line here between giving people what they want and pissing them off by subverting expectations and taking some of their agancy as a player away from them.
I've mentioned this before, but the HOT uniform is from a Daz asset called "You must be registered to see the links", and both the HOT name and colour scheme are part of that asset.
Also, Sage's HOT uniform in the Ep 5 flashback is from the "You must be registered to see the links" asset.

I think possibility of long play and getting much more new content better than releasing every week version with 5 minutes of new gameplay.

Yeah, I think ep 6 needed to be longer because there are a lot of critical storylines to advance. Everything has been properly set up, now it's time to see where the relationships and drama go. Personally, I can't wait to see MC walking around campus in those new threads. If we thought he was a babe magnet before, he's really going to be swimming in it now that he has a dik jacket instead of a dik head (helmet).

Maybe. Episode 5 had a very long development time but I would regard it as the weakest episode thus far. Despite the objective quality and quantity of animations, I don't think they fully compensated for the long wait or the lack of progress (story or relationship wise).
Episode 6 has certainly been hyped up, and if it gets things back in gear I think the extra development time will be well worth it. But if all the time was spent on pretty animations and the plot continues to creak along, that would be a troubling sign.
Things like DPC's poll about animations make me worry that the marketability of flashy graphics could overshadow other aspects of the game that are (IMHO) more important and faster to produce. Nevertheless, I remain cautiously optimistic. (If increasingly impatient. We're so close...)

unfortunately there is no correlation between the length of the episode and its importance for the development of the plot.
I didn't like episode 5 too, but I justify it because it had to fix what happened in the first season (the picnic is a masked retcon) and act as a prologue for what will happen.
in the new chapter there are two free roams and the game of D&G (which for me until proven otherwise will be only boring if all goes well, I also have a bet with Maviarab in question) hopefully the rest will start to press on the accelerator, being in theory half the battle.
