Why do you say she wouldn't use it herself? The dialog makes it clear (to me, at least) that Quinn would never sell coke... yet now she does because she's just that desperate. I see using the coke as a natural extension of that: it's a personal line she'd never let herself cross... until she hits rock bottom and figures there's nothing left to lose.

It's pretty clear Quinn's life is heading for rock bottom at an accelerating pace, so I see Quinn as by far the most likely target for that particular Chekov's gun. I certainly don't want it to happen, and I think there's a good chance the MC can intervene (at least on some paths), but that's where I see things going at this point. I'm curious as to why you think she'll cross one line but not the other.

Well, as I've said before, I see someone else using it and suffering the consequences being a far more effective plot tool in shaking Quinn out of this desperation she seems to have. We still don't quite know why she's so desperate, but let's say that the reason she needs this money so much isn't for her simply so she can have it, but for someone else. She may see this drug selling and prostitution stuff as the only way she can raise the money she needs as expediently as possible, hence why she's becoming willing to take more and more risks and go beyond her own comfort zone. But if someone, like Riona for example, OD'd on that coke, then it might finally force Quinn to admit it's gone too far because her closest friend and confidant almost died from her actions.

Simply seeing Quinn hit rock bottom and do the coke would, for me, be something of a weak plot device because it only harms herself and it doesn't necessarily pull her out of the downward spiral, it only worsens it. This of course presumes that DPC wants to pull her out of this spiral, but when you look at a lot of the relationships the MC has in this game, and even those of AL, the MC is the quinitessential hero/white knight helping people to get out of their bad situations and lead better lives, so that's why I think it will also be possible with Quinn. But that, in my mind, is better served if something happens to someone else to show Quinn the consequences of her wreckless actions.

Not all of us care if the game is a slow burn towards sex scenes. The story is fucking brilliant and for a lot of members on this site, it absolutely is one of the best.

To be perfectly honest, it was never about the sex scenes for me. I didn't get in to this type of game for the sex scenes. When that's all I thought these games were, I only had 4 or 5 of them. They were the occasional alternative to porn. And I vastly preferred actual porn. But then I downloaded melody. And it had a super cute, romantic story and I realized these games could actually be worth playing. And the deluca family is exceptional on that front.

Fair enough, I've played VNs without sex myself and loved them (e.g. the Steam version of the Grisaia series). But I'm still trying to give up porn (have been for years), so games on this site are kind of a substitute for me, that's why I appreciate good sex scenes like BaDIK has.

I still have my doubts about her wanting to enter a serious, committed, and official relationship with the MC. Aside from the fact that she just came out of a seemingly long relationship and has been deeply hurt by it, the biggest obstacle right now is that she'll be graduating and the MC has only just started college. Given what she's just been through, she may not want another serious relationship right now since there's a very good chance she'll be moving to somewhere else in the country after graduation and so any potential relationship is not going to last long. Therefore, even if she starts feeling something more, she likely won't act on it in terms of pursuing a more serious relationship and just continue being FWB, at least until near the end where she'll finally own up to it and it will be up to the MC to decide what to do about it.

In some ways, I feel like both Sage and Jill are potentially being set-up as relationships that were foreshadowed by previous ones. With Jill, it would be similar to his parents; a rich girl from a prestigious family gives up the trappings of her family to be with someone of a lower social class. With Sage, it almost feels like it would be a do-over of his relationship with Zoey; there was something of a FWB relationship with them and it was only when she was leaving that he realised he felt more for her but he let her go and didn't let her know how he really felt. So perhaps something similar will play out with Sage where she lets the MC know how she really feels about him and he can choose to let her go like he did with Zoey, or he doesn't and tells her his feelings right as she's about to leave.

I think that my best solution for this is that the time in the games starts to move more quickly.

It seems a bit tedious to me that not even a month has passed in the game, As much as she and chad have broken up, when one has had a very long relationship, one chooses to be single for a while and not switch from one girlfriend to another in 24 hours.
