I admit that my life is not the most interesting and best life , but definitely not revolve around a porn game, it might be possible that I won't live long enough to even see the finished product, never know. .
but yes , if it's mean I get a proper well finished developed game by the end, then yes , it will worth it.
and I'm pretty sure there are lots of peoples that now wish Cyberpunk 2077 would have been delayed more in exchange for a better game

It doesn't matter waht we think. This style of art, is literally defined by its payment system. We are patrons of the artist, we provide and he does his art.

Before art became so commercialized, this was common, art was produced by the artist, not by businessmen who shaped everything from its time frame to its content.

If you want bland, derivative 'art' thats delivered quick and dirty, plenty of porn films are coming out every year. This sort of thing is a whole different beast.

DPC said he is not going to rush this important part of development and that beta testing will start sometime in April, let's say between 9-16 and this will probably take around 2 weeks so this is either releasing very late April or early May

Theoretically, let’s accept that beta testing will begin on April 1st or 2nd. It usually lasts somewhere between 10-14 days, if everything goes smoothly. So the April 16th release date sounds plausible.

What worries me is that if something unexpected comes up, we might get a late April or an early May release.

So again, I think it's likely Jill is a virgin. But I see no reason to flat out dismiss the possibility that she isn't. Then again, unless the game makes a big deal out the reveal (in either direction) I also don't think matters much: it doesn't really affect my view of Jill.

Her virginity in itself could be a "big deal" because how think how important and special that moment can be for people. Jill is someone for whom this would represent a great level of trust in the person she's doing it with but also a great level of feeling for them. This, for her, could certainly mean the start of a meaningful relationship, but if you're someone who's been pursuing others and continue to do so after this stage of a relationship with Jill, it could have devastating emotional consequences for Jill, and maybe that's the point; to make you feel like shit for breaking her heart.

Just seems weird to me that an attractive, third year college woman would be a virgin. It's not impossible but seems unlikely and again.... kinda weird to me.

She's clearly a very reserved and somewhat sheltered person with old-fashioned views on dating, relationships, and sex.

I don't think it's that surprising when you look at it like that.

DPC does so much testing on their own before giving it out to the beta testers that this probably mitigates a lot of potential issues, that's why beta testing always takes less time than DPC assigns for it.

He added a new big free roam, new mini game, new phone features and whatnot combine that with branching that's apparently going to happen this episode...That's why i'm saying beta might just take 2 weeks and not the usual 7 days.

How does any of that change if Jill isn't a virgin? If anything, her having tried sex once and sworn it off should show an even greater level of trust in the MC if she's giving him a shot now.

Yes, the first time having sex is a major milestone in a person's life and it is obviously a significant shared event between two people. But there are plenty of milestones for the girls we will never see personally, and I'd argue any non-casual sex is significant shared event in and of itself. Why can sex be meaningful and significant for Jill only if it's her first time?

I love these little moments that MC and Sage have had so far, and hopefully Ep. 7 will be a whole episode of these.

Well, there are plenty of games that keep their audience for years. Many MMorpgs, or other games, I play Overwatch 5 years now. and almost every game take years to develop 5-7. or more. I'm not talking about EA who puts out a new Fifa in every year obviously
The difference here is, We part of the development process. We real time experiencing it, even founding it. Surely he could put out a 3% updated, in every 2-3 week like NTL doing it With ToN . But personally I prefer a more meaty update , for me personally there is two time window when the waiting is harder than usual.
1, Right after I finished an update, a New episode. I immediately want to play the next one, this take usually 2-3 week to calm down.
2, When we are in the finish line. When we get the news of him being 80% completed and etc, then yes the waiting, just like the waiting before xmas it's getting harder and harder. as of it right now. We are right now on that phase

Remaining as FWB could actually be more impactful than them being an official item. Considering what she went through with Chad, the apparent years of pining and chasing after him only to be dumped so casually by him, and the fact that she'll be graduating at the end of this academic year, she may convince herself that she doesn't want another proper relationship right now. Any relationship she has may only be temporary since there's a good chance that, after graduation, she'll move far away from B&R and so she may not want to put herself through that; catching feelings for someone only to have it end when she leaves.

However, just because she might not want to catch feelings doesn't mean she won't, and so her relationship with the MC could become one where she's fighting between these 2 sides of herself, the one that wants a relationship with him and the one that doesn't because she feels it won't last. This could create quite a bit of drama in their relationship with Sage showing signs of jealousy towards the MC being with other girls thus causing the occasional friction between the two, until eventually Sage confesses her feelings near the end and the MC has to choose whether to accept them or not.

This week I pushed to produce the remaining content; I'm almost finished with this.

Starting in a few days, I will start working on this list:

• Meticulously play and polish the update
• Double-check variables, choices, branches
• Compatibility test changes with older saves
• Rewrite/trim/touch up scenes after playing
• Add any content needed after tests
• Initial spellcheck before proofreading

You can expect an update that will give you plenty of content regardless of how you choose to play. There is plenty of branching in this episode, and once you start to play the update in different ways, you'll discover its layers.

I'm extremely proud of the work I've put into this, and I can't wait to release it.

I have a lot to test given the new features I've produced for this update and the complexity of the branching storylines.

I don't intend to rush this important part of development, but I'm sure that beta tests will start sometime in April.

This status update will be the final one before release.

As soon as I know more, I will post notifications when beta testing has started, a preliminary changelog, and a release date announcement when I'm positive that I can deliver to a certain date.

Testing will get the time that's needed without any stress. Bear with me and my testers for the final stretch, and the update will be here before you know it.

. I was Fine being Sage Fuck Buddy, and then Chad fucked up this for me too. . But seriously, and I like Sage, with the short timeline of the game, it's just a little bit weird for me, I mean sure She catching feelings for MC, but She was so hung up on Chad , that any given moment She would go back to him, if he Shown just a slight care toward her. She was not even the one who dumped him, it was Chad who break up with her, and I can't help but feel like I'm a second best option, and not only that, but would feel weird from Sage that she would want to jump a committed relationship with MC all sudden. all this, while the MC others relationship start to get deeper, to me the Timing couldn't be more inconvenient. surely I could focus on just one girl, and would miss like 70% of the game content. But I prefer to keep my bait in the water until the the right time comes

U have a point, when i think about it i also think the power of dilemma is actually better than just simply a couple breaking up cause of the different phase in life. Although i think if the MC keep picking Sage when there is a choice, i think she will fall in love with us sooner than the graduation. Im assuming this will be the case considering how we are treating her and especially taking care of her when she's sick, it will be really hard for her to not fall in love with us soon.

Starting significant branching in the earliest estimate middle episode is a risky move by Pinkcakes.

Continuing on that path could lead to producing significantly larger updates, at ~5K renders it's already twice the size of any episode that came before 6.
