Perhaps, but the people who stay here for the long haul are, IMHO, staying here for the characters and story as well.

BaDIK has good models (demon Jill aside) and great animations, but where it really shines is in the attention to detail and its ability to make us care about the characters. So yeah, porn game or not, character debates are fair game.

I'd certainly prefer if they remained civil, but alas, fans aren't called fans for our ability to move air.

Porn games have to be morally wrong? Are you sure you want to die on that hill? Most adult games avoid moral questions. You're never going to find a game that labels anything as rape or incest because no one will host it. That's why there are more step mothers and step sisters in games than there are in the real world. And even in those games it's always consensual. Almost no one will host a game involving true depravity and Patreon certainly won't fund one.

I'm not suggesting these games should be serious business because unless you're the developer they should be entertaining and that's it. But you're not likely to find anything involving rape, incest, pedophilia, necrophilia, zoophilia, etc. because even in game form most hosting refuses them.

I strongly disagree. I can definitely see the situation with Maya's dad dragging late into the game mainly because it's the definitive drama that her route revolves around which also includes Josy as well. If that situation gets resolved by episode 8 then what will Maya and Josy's route revolve around?

Moral, amoral... The fact of the matter is that a lot of people think with their dicks.

Take Daenerys Fucking Targaryen for example: I knew the bitch was mental since the beginning of season 2. The majority of people overlooked the clear signs of her being just as psychotic as the rest of her inbred family. Why? Because boobs. And 3rd wave feminism, but that's a different can of worms I have no intention of opening right now...

Well if i have the hill then i have the high ground and as general Kenoibi said...

Porn game doesn't have to be morally wrong as i said, it's true, but there is nothing wrong if they do, and usually it makes them better. And i don't mean porn games, but fantasies in general. I will give you one example, incest. You said there are a lot of step mother and step sisters. Let's forget you are having sex with both the mother and the daughter. Why you think they are step-something in the first place?. They could be simple girls you met, and yet they re presented as steps. There is a reason there, and is simple: couse they are working the incest fantasy, just disimulated to make it less taboo than most people can support. I actuallyhave serious problems with thoose kind of characters even in games i like, couse i had a step-mother, and the thought of having sex with her makes me vomit. I dont judge other people, but there is defenetely a moral taboo there.

I love your profile pic. I am a huge Dany fan, and i will love to talk of that but it will be off topic. I wasn't for the feminism or the boobs, but for the slave revolt and the way she killed their enemies.
But yeah you re right, emotions will mostly win over rationality. That's a problem we all have, and yet we do our best to overcome that.

I have a theory. Maya comes back to her dorm room with josy in tow only to find her dad standing there. All hell breaks loose ending with the dad making good in his threat. Maya with no way out, becomes depressed and goes to the dark place. One day josy calls mc in a frantic state telling him Maya attempted suicide and has been taken to the hospital. Derek contacts his dad letting him know what happens. Mc arrives at the hospital to find mayas grief stricken dad by her bed. Fast forward, Maya gets out of the hospital and her dad tells her he's not going to pull her tuition money and that he's sorry.

Solves Maya problem and gives dpc that dark moment in the story.

Yeah...not happening. I mean, all of it's not happening, but this especially. Just because she would do something like this (which she won't) doesn't mean her Dad's going to do a complete 180 on the whole anti-gay thing and then just give her the tuition. It's too neat and tidy a resolution for an action that's so drastic.

Well, if we're going to go off the rails:

Maya tells her Dad she has successfully completed anti-gay conversion therapy and that the MC is her boyfriend. The MC, being the good DIK that he is, goes along with the lie just to help a sister out. This, of course, results in both Maya and Josy deciding they're not completely gay and doing the threesome tango with the MC.
