Newbie to this game with a question:

For somebody like me who has seen almost every fetish in this site and around the Interwebs, is it worth it to play this game which looks (please pardon the term and don't lynch me) Vanilla and bland at first glance? I really don't see the appeal at first glance and it looks like any run-of-the mill VN...

I don't trust the ''reviews'' for this game either because it feels like one massive circle jerk circus IMHO...

Sorry for the skepticism but seeing this game with tons of likes just intrigues me when it looks like a vanilla ''College guy with infinite libido magically gets all the girls'' type of game...

You're asking an extremely busy forum dedicated to the game if the game is worth playing; of course we're overwhelmingly going to say yes!

If you're only interested in kinks, the game might fall flat for you. If you're interested in characters, story, sexy renders, high production values, or just generally understanding all the references people will make to a popular work, I'd say BaDIK is well worth playing.

So here's a question for the Maya fan's. If she does become a HOT (and I think it's a distinct possibility) will she apologize to them for thinking they're nothing but a bunch of sluts? That she's better than they are? It shouldn't be too hard for her, I mean she does apologize a LOT in this game. But will it be a sincere apology?

I mean have you ever stopped to question why Quinn is so hostile to Maya? Could it be that she saw through her from the beginning? People are usually really good at picking up on things like that. And given that DPC made such a big thing about the HOT's apologizing to Maya I wonder if it will be reciprocated?

I've said before that I think the start of Quinn's hatred of Maya was the sense that Maya looked down on her. But I also think Quinn (and you) exaggerate just how strong Maya's contempt was. Maya called them a bunch of sluts, but a single off-hand remark isn't quite the seething hatred you imply. I don't think Maya really got bitter about Quinn and the other HOTs until after Quinn tried to back out of the free tuition in Episode 6.

As for Maya sincerely apologizing, I'd say it's a distinct possibility if she does join the HOTs. But it would probably only be to certain individuals (and definitely not Quinn), and I think it might be a while before we get to that point.

Yes but I never saw the MC expressing such pure contempt for the DIK's. Of course his first motivation was getting a place to stay, though that was shot down almost immediately, and even after we see Rusty telling him that the mansion was already crowded, and even made it plain that there were no guarantee's. MC himself stated a motivation to help out Derek out of a sense of gratitude.

With Maya we see none of these. Almost the first thing we hear from her is how low of an opinion she has for the HOT's. We don't even hear Josy say that she dreamed of joining a Sorority until ep 7, so it also makes it hard to believe that she would join just to support her.

Recall that during the MC's infamous "Quinn is evil" debacle, Maya herself thought that was overstating things. Clearly she didn't despise Quinn yet. As I said, I think you're reading more into her "slut" comment than was warranted.


As for Josy, she does briefly mention wanting to join a sorority in Episode 4 if you're on the M/J path. And it certainly fits her personality.

As to the HOT's, I think this is even shakier ground. Sarah's apology was something I found especially hard to believe. When did we ever see anything in Sarah's personality that would justify such an action from her?

I agree, it was quite a surprise. On the other hand, it's not like we spent much time with Sarah. It's not unreasonable there might be more to her than just her relentless crusade against chastity.

Maya's first impression of the HOTs is bad, but basically she is right... and during her stay among them she has no reason to change her mind about them. Sarah and Melanie talk bad about her on several occasions and we don't see her sharing any positive moments even with the less radical HOTs, like Helena or Heather

also MC has a bad impression when he meets the DIKs (and he is basically right too), but he during his first days with them sees something positive, apart from Tommy they are all well disposed towards him since the beginning, they are all happy that he wants to become a DIK

if the free tuition had existed Maya would have remained among the HOTs, despite the HOTs... maybe she will have other opportunities to reconsider
