The dev said that he likes to annoy his feminist wife by arguing things that actually he doesn´t think. And, of course, the character that "lambast the shit out of feminist" is the clown of the game, the one that nobody takes seriously. The dev is a woke.

I wouldn´t mind if, during second season, when it´s clear that Maya and Josy are lesbians, the player would be able to say "I´m out of here". But no, the player is forced to enter into the trap, and after that, is even forced to, at least, "remain friends" of them. It´s not even possible to forget about them and their far fetched, stupid, postmodern cliché soap opera drama with the evil religious father and all that jazz. And it seems will be even worse with Chad and the other guy.

So I know, you all loved my previous posts on Quinn, Bella, Heather and Josy, and while I'd like to break down all the characters, they don't all have interesting progression arcs, but I've always wanted to do one for Lily, so here goes:

Well, as a nominally sort-of religious person who used to be part of a church (I've been describing myself as Christian-flavored Agnostic), I feel like I have to point out the most obvious bit of hypocrisy here. He/she seems to be the kind of dogmatic religious person that can't stand homosexuality, but is playing porn games so much that he/she is active in their forums and feeling entiltled enough to make demands of its story content. To be fair, there aren't many parts of the Bible that legitimately deal with sex in my opinion (unless they're about controlling women), but onansim is a thing.

I'm also willing to bet that this person isn't consistant on many other parts of the dogma either. Probably doesn't have a problem with eating shellfish (which is described as an abomination in the same section that calls homosexuality an abomination). And based on the porn/game activity, probably has lusted after another man's wife. That'd violate one of the ten commandments right there. Also probably hasn't sold their belongings and given it to the poor to follow in Jesus.

But apparently they can find justification to hate gay/bi people enough to yell at porn game devs and demand that their content change. Classy stuff.

The DIK route however makes it possible to seek love with Tybalt, Chad, Troy, Dawe and Burke. These are the main men.

I myself prefer the CHICK route but quite surprisingly a lot of people on this platform prefer the DIK route. I'm not too crazy about that last one to be honest, but everyone's cup of tea.

On a serious note and in short:
The two routes determine your MC's personality which directly has an influence on the women you can have a relationship with. In the DIK route you're kind of asshole and the route allows you to have sex with a lot more different women but isn't the best option if you want to have succes with the main girls (apart from Sage, you can go both routes with her). In the CHICK route however, you're a nice guy and it is the way to go to have a relationship with any of the main girls.

This aint no Sandbox game with a 50 million dollar budget made by a AAA company. You follow a story with several choices and if those choices are not to your liking, then guess what? Take it or leave it.

I didn't focus on that. I like the game and enjoyed my time spent on it, but it isn't perfect and that portrayal of that character and forced relationships is some of my problems with it. For a modern porn game it really isn't that bad and not particularly woke for what it is but I really hope we get more negative or dismissive options for Chad and that long haired asshole than what we got with Maya and Josy.

I'm ok with the Chad situation as long as DPC doesn't force us to be a new BFF with him after the "shocking reveal." DIKs don't buddy up with Jocks (even reformed Jocks) and I already have Derek. We went through DIK pledging together and that's a bond for life. I don't forgive everything that easily, but after Chad helped me at the HOTs party, I don't hate him like I did before. His sexuality means nothing to me. Gay or straight, I don't like him sucker punching me in the street and manhandling Sage. Had DPC allowed me to beat the shit out of Chad then and there, I probably would have completely let bygones be bygones after the fight. Unfortunately, for story and drama purposes, that can't happen. Even when you "win" the fight, DPC still makes you lose so Jill can rescue you and you can poke her eye out with a dildo. By the way, it's funny how you won't even take the dildo helmet off to sleep with Jill (because of pledge rules!), but when you're making out with Bella in the library you're like, fuck those rules!

As far as the Chad/Troy thing goes, even on my DIK playthroughs I can't imagine choosing to out them. Not my business and I don't care about their bedroom choices. Sage will have to work all that stuff out on her own. My MC's only issues with Chad are listed above. It's more of a fighting jocks rivalry than anything else.

And while this is a weird forum for an argument about the Bible, Christians believe that Jesus' teachings and subsequent death on the cross established a new covenant between God and humanity. For most Christians this does nullify the Old Testament, certainly most of Leviticus, as most Christians shave, eat pork, etc. etc. But some still really like the part about wanting to kill a man who lies with another man, and I guess for you that extends to women who lie with other women.

You're entitled to your views and disappointment that DPC doesn't give you a choice to stone Josy and Maya to death once you find out that they're gay, but if you came here looking for guys to agree with you, I think you're on the wrong site.
