So, Im missing two scenes (after the sage&quinn one). Thought Maybe one of them was for a Quinn only route, but nothing!
What am I missing? Pretty sure I tried every LI road now.

That is why his story will suffer more as it nears the end, just like Acting Lessons did. I am not saying we are going to have an AL ending, but his story lost all credibility at the point of the fire and not being able to carry out two small girls, even if Athletic was your chosen trait. He wanted that grit and pain, but failed. He introduced us to the psycho nurse in such a haphazard way that it was a fail. Here he will tie up endings. Whether he does it well or sloppy??? My bet is the latter. Because he just can't plan it and execute it in a believable or even just a decent fashion. He doesn't have that skill set in him. He SHOULD hire someone to do that for him.
Alas I have said that before. I said it to him. He does not take criticisms well, even very constructive ones... thus the asshole in me comes out,

Some time ago I heard a movies director and script writer of my country, winner of an Oscar to "best foreign film" in the 80´s, recognize that it is much easier to plan a great story than to develop it, and above all, than to finish it rightly. That´s the reason there are, for example, a ton of highly successful TV shows that disappoint the fans at the end. "Game of Thrones", "Dexter", "Friends"...

DPC disappointed with the ending of "Acting Lessons" and, lets face it, probably is going to disappoint with the ending of this game too because, again, the lack of the profesional skills for writing a script as complex as this one. Usually, with this game and other amateur games of this site, I prefer to put the focus in the elements of the game I like (certain characters, certain scenes and situations...) and try to forget about the plot holes, inconsistencies and other elements of the whole game that I don´t like. I just hope the lasts chapters of this game are not going to be as bad as the ones of Acting Lessons and Tremolo still will have control over the ending and there is not going to be a great disgrace out of the blue that ruins everything. I could stand a bland or even cheesy ending, but not an overdramatic one.

The implication is that the HOTs are doing the same sort of "work" the DIKs do when we send them to earn money in the mansion mini-game. It just happens offscreen because no one cares when the HOTs to boring stuff fully clothed.



But it's only your assertion that they must be getting mana from heaven. We know Bella has a job because it's plot relevant. If Sage or one of the minor characters earned their pocket money doing minimum wage work, we'd probably only know about it if we stumbled upon them working (the way we did with Beth).

Maya is the only case where the lack of a job is an actual oversight, because we KNOW she has a pressing need for money yet the topic of earning it through a job has never come up (despite the MC/Josy supposedly wanting to help her). For all the other characters, the only ones with a pressing need for money were the DIKs, and we see them start working once the MC convinces them to stand on their own two feet.


It goes both ways. We shouldn't be afraid to criticize the story for its shortcomings, but we don't need to castigate it for flaws that can be easily explained away in game.

Uhmm excuse me but didn't the MC of this game spend more than half the game so far looking for a place to stay? And have you ever seen a college campus where the overwhelming majority of the students lived in the dorms or at a greek house? What about off campus apartments? Couldn't the MC have solved his housing problems with a cheap studio apartment? Maybe he could spend some of his prostitute money on rent? That's so easily explained away.

I've seen a lot of movies in life. Ed Wood's catalogue may not be the worst films to ever appear on the screen, but without question they are absolutely shit. Do I think I could do better? If you wanna have a VN that's 100% foulproof ( there is and there's never gonna be one ! ) best prepare yourselves for a loooong ass waiting time between updates ( not months YEARS ! ) and a couple of TB in each and every " patch " ( without any 4K 8K graphic upgrades... ) not to mention we can cross now VN out and go with pure life simulator that will make you sleep very easily and won't have such success let alone fan base ! Blame should fall on this mania where you cannot function anymore properly without analysing even such simple things... it's not a bad thing if used wisely but taking it too far will only result in dead ends such as this where there isn't even any merit unless you WANT TO BE A DICK ! She is anything BUT perfect knowing her good and bad sides but that doesn't even needed to fancy someone ! She is a prostitute ( which is bad I would say ) smokes ( even weed... I would not count that to positive either ) but at the same time she is a lovely petite and delicate flower ! All this talk about people working really doesn’t take into account the timeframe we’re dealing with.

Someone made an estimated how long they’ve been at B&R and it isn’t insane nobody has ended up working in that timeframe.

Maya put all her eggs in the free hots tuition basket. It’s been a week or so since that fell through. Not exactly an insane plot hole that she hasn’t immediately got a job. She could have at least acknowledged it I suppose but she went straight from relying on the hots to relying on Sage.

If everyone was level headed and executed plans to the letter straight away this wouldn’t be a story worth telling. Hindsight is 20/20 and finding it unbelievable a bunch of students are not pulling themselves up by their bootstraps at their first taste of adversity is pushing it a little bit.
