I'm beginning to think a vast majority of you people only look at the pictures. Which makes it even harder to explain how you end up Maya fans.

More like fictional reality in a known setting.

There is not two kinds of narratives for wich one has unicorns and the other is a copy of reality. There are hundreds of different tipes of narratives. Take the simpsons, sometimes goes fantastic, true, but most of time they don't. Yet the main premise of the show goes around the security supervisor of a nuclear plant that don't know his job. That thing is not realistic, yet it works anyway. With Badik the same happens.

In real life Dawe will be bye bye by episode 1. This is not how the world works. And every resemblence of realism has been sacrifices from the start in exchange of... one joke.

Yeah I didn't say there are two kinds of narratives or two hundred. I said its a realistic setting with real world rules so you can apply real world rules and morality and of course BaDik world will have similar laws.

That thing with Cathy is not that unrealistic, I've seen worse in High School. One guy got expelled for beating a teacher, another time the car of another teacher appeared upside down. We all have seen crazy things.

Of course things are a little more extreme with sex and violence because the game follows the tone of college movies and porn games, we're familiar with that kind of movies and games so we apply that context too and we don't find it weird when we get a handjob at the start, we're expecting lots of sex in a porn game. That doesn't mean we can break the rules at will to win an argument on the internet and assume their rules are different when needed.

That said, to me the first chapters are a little bit more crazy, then the game finds the perfect balance.

I'd like to ask, and probably it might have been asked same here over many times not going to deny but whatever my search term didn't get same result or I'm doing it wrong, anyhow. Is there any difference between the full retail version and official build? Both GOG/Steam has first season, along with second one that will be released on January 6. The retail has like approximately over 20 GB while official 6-7GB. I also assume that retail version has all 2 season combined and already finished production to release? like should I'd rather play second season now rather than wait for the official release for 2 weeks? If so, Am I going to be feeling guilt trip bad for not paying developers on this? Cause the regional price where I live is quite expensive which I don't typical do over AAA games. Cheers.

As feedback on the game, the art is really cool and nice, plot story is somewhat subjective but fine for me. Some additional transition could be better for smooth experience to closure, also more audio elements to hear out or voice if so but since this is visual novel, it's understandable. Fun how my ears got numbed from playing this game in silence haha. I'd be tempted to recommend this to a great studio to fund the project.

There's no difference in story/render content between the Patreon & Steam/GOG versions. Patreon is the full, in development version, while only completed seasons are released on Steam/GOG. So if you want to get all the new releases (0.9, 0.10 etc.) play the Patreon version (which is what gets posted here).

This is a pirate site, most users won't feel guilty about leaching this game. If you do end up feeling guilty, you can still pay something for the Patreon version if you want? Subscribe at the lowest level that you can afford, then cancel the subscription so you're not forking out every month.

No bank would operate like this, no formal student loan would... for the record I believe this is just DPC coming up with a contrived story element and he didn't think it through but despite that my point was there are other ways to borrow money and no matter how unlikely they are everyone needs to just accept it for what it is rather than deep diving into the law and consulting with their sister lawyers, usury uncles or fucking fiduciary fiancees to get a "professional" opinion on the legality of loans in a damn titty game.

I think this is a side effect of releasing the game in multiple episodes. To make the whole thing more confusing, time passes very slowly in the game.

The game was released in February 2019, almost 2 years, we have 8 episodes with a lot of stories, and in game only 2 and a half or barely 3 months have passed.


Otherwise, yes it might seem weird to think that the guy who wants to control his daughter's life lets her go to college.

But in order to control or influence someone's life, you have to be part of their life. If you pull too much on the leash, it ends up breaking, and there you no longer have any power over whoever is attached to it.

on the contrary, Patrick needed Maya to go to college, otherwise he could only keep her segregated for life, whereas in this way he reinforced his control over her (leaving aside any discussion of the credibility of the loan)

Patrick then it's not that he wants absolute control over Maya's life, but over a very specific aspect, that's why it seems strange that he relied on Derek and never checked what kind of dormitory his daughter lived in and who her official roommate was... does he go as far as having the keys to the room and not just doing simple verifications?
