(and that's in the most benign scenario where the MC wasn't buying from Quinn's trash trailer. If he did... welp, RIP)

Damn. I just wrote yesterday that Jill (Melanie) and Melanie (Jill) have reversed roles, because the real Jill (Melanie) wants to enjoy life at college. By the way, on the screenshot you can see the picture with the painted hearts, which can also be seen in the EP7 intro.

But I noticed something else. Melanie wears the same white dress that Josy wears later in EP8 at the dorm party. It goes even further. Melanie is wearing flats, just like Josy at the HOT's party. But that's not it yet. Melanie wears the shoes in DNG2 that Josy wears at the Dorm Party.

There I have to think immediately so that Josy shoes on the EP5 Preps party were too large and the shoes on the Dorm party also. The shoes that Melanie wears in DNG2.

Is Josy maybe borrowing clothes and shoes from her Aunt Jill (Melanie).

When the MC is on the Sage branch in EP4, he tries to talk to Sage about Quinn. But Sage doesn't really want to talk about problems etc. at that moment, so the MC can assume that Sage already knows and tolerates it.

This is true for all branches. The MC can assume that Sage, as president of HOT, knows about it and therefore is not obligated to talk about it.

I don't recall any discussion to such effect. Does it happen if you go to Sage at the end of EP3? If so, that's hardly univesal, and even if it was "i presumed you knew" isn't ever going to cut it as a justification.

I also think that Sage knows about it and is fine with the girls wanting to make some money. Voluntary.

Sage would have to be out of her mind to be "fine" with potentially being painted and charged as an organizer of prostitution ring in college, something that'd completely ruin both her and her foster parents in the public eye. And so far she's been shown as the opposite of this level of stupid. Face-palming oblivious? Yes. But plain stupid? No.

Pretty sure the primary reason this never gets properly brought to her attention is so it can blow up spectacularly down the road. Much like why MC doesn't ever bother to find out people's names until it produces hilarious consequences.

I think Zoey will be obtainable on just about any path. Her entire purpose is to sabotage whatever relationship you currently have, so DPC is going to give you the option to (cheat or) ditch your girl to run off with Ms. Hepatitis. It is one of his favourite kinds of drama (LI vs LI). Hep is going to throw herself at MC from the minute she arrives at B&R and DPC is going to pull out all of the stops to get weak players to crumble. Just like he did with Quinn (a boo-boo nose and some sappy music is all it took, then a bit of broccoli and they were hopelessly entangled in the spider's web). I imagine that a burst of DPC machine gun Zoey drama is going to take down a good 40-50% of the charging simps in no man's land when we all go over the top on release day.

I have the feeling that Zoey will be a Love Interest if you choose "others" at the end of ep. 8, otherwise MC will flatly reject her.

I think that the first 2 seasons are "choose your girl" and the last 2 seasons will be "build your relationship".

Honestly I have no hope DPC can spin this without making Sage look like the dumbest character in the story, at least if she knows about girls sleeping for money but not the blackmailing, she is morally questionable, but not Arieth-dumb...

Edit. About the drugs she might have the same policy as Rusty, as long as its not in public, she might not care. Do we have any points in the game where she reference anything about drugs?

it's not the 69 that's chick (or the hugging as it is with Maya). but that these poor girls don't trust a MC DIK enough for this kind of intimacy, everything else is fine (from rimjob to bukkake), but that's too intimate

Zoey is a potential love interest, but also a story convention. Her purpose is to be introduced into the game right after the player made an important relationship choice to complicate that choice. If he made a commitment she arrives to put it to the test. If he decided no one was right for him, her arrival asks him to consider why that was. Create the friction necessary to move the story along. Whether he committed to someone or not, she complicates things. That is a good thing. Conflict creates drama, and makes what you are reading compelling. I'm pretty okay with Zoey so long as she doesn't set anything on fire, damn it!

it doesnt seem particularly wise to essentially repeat the most lampooned and complained about relationship drama sequence of the game so far. especially when he knows now that most everyone that has played this game feels the M&J choice was handled exceptionally poorly. only the most diehard simps for DPC wouldnt call him out for whatever that bottleneck event was.

just my two cents though. we will see if he learned anything from the previous criticisms sent his way

Totally agree, my comment was more aimed toward the assumption she could be flat out rejected, I just don't think it'll be possible, but like you said, I don't think DPC will impose her as a relationship either.

Like NewTricks said, she will complicate things, it will confuse the MC, she means too much to the MC, and DPC ingrained her too much in the story, her having a DIK/Chick affinity gauge and all and the MC of Interlude, to just be an minor afterthought. But then, we'll have to see DPC story writing on full display, cause yeah, even if it's his story, his game, he'll have to convince people of its worth if he imposes Zoey.

its more like a couple of months between Zoey leaving and him falling for Josy, at the store. So yeah, I still think thats how it will play out, he will be conflicted about jumping to conclusions.

I don't think it will be an encore of the M+J drama, which in any case only ended the season, but it wasn't the theme, the theme of the first season was mainly Hell's week and discovering Maya's secret (the loan!!) and Josy

and considering how last season went, Zoey is unlikely to be an improvement, at least she will be a more believable doubt than Tybalt's blackmail

I'll wait to see how it develops, but I absolutely don't find it so forced that the first obstacle of MC's new relationship (Others is quite a peculiar situation) is coming to terms with MC's only previous relationship

MC said goodbye to Zoey without being clear whether he loved her or not, now he thinks he knows what love is, sure sure sure?
