You thought you might start liking him when he appeared to show concern about Josy at the party only for him to dash that hope in his reply to the MC when the MC thought he really cared about Josy.
I've tried to give Madame Rose a chance but there's just something about her that makes my skin crawl. I find those sex scenes more disturbing than hot.I almost prefer when Derrek banged the old teacher over it.
But that's the question, right - why is Madame Rose in the game? It's either a really weird choice by DPC (which is possible), or she has a bigger role to play in the story (like she's Burke's Priscilla, or has some connection to Quinn's restaurant, or is who Lily is working for if she's undercover but not a cop).
You need to find the way out of the loop by being a better person.

I don't think she would be so important and still so easy to avoid until now. In my first playthrough I didn't even saw her in the background. Usually DPC does that for less important characters (like girls from the date app). It would be one thing that it was easy to skip her sex scenes if you don't choose the proper options, but if she was so important I guess she would appear more easily at least in the story, whatever route you play.

One thing that always bothered me about this game are some lines from back in chapter 03. It goes like this: "But if had known the real reasons for her tears and her persona... I wouldn't have kissed her that night... I would have called for help". Can any1 clarify that for me? Is it a flashfoward to another tragedy like in acting leasons?

Yeah Josy's affinity is definitely a neutral or maybe even molded by the MC (like Zoey) also as one of the first relationships the MC can establish in the game it's very clear she has strong feelings for him whether in a relationship or not despite affinity and has a strong libido for the MC like Sage (I would even go as far to say she's the Sage for Chick MCs).

And I absolutely agree Keeping the Throuple together or going for a Maya solo path if that's going to happen will def be based on Chick affinity.
It was to make the player think they're /opening a can of worms/ with her. And, it hasn't happened yet, but it will. If DPC put that kind of line in, then it means trouble, just that we haven't seen it yet.
It is ok when they were fuck buddies but if u start a relationship I would not propose a threesome as first thing...
