I am using windows and downloaded the windows version but still haven't seen any. I am new to this so I am trying to get interested in it but seems since I am not that Technology Savy that I may be wasting time
I put the captures in order for you.

Image 4: To interact you have to click anywhere.

Image 5: Click on the Demo version to start with the instruction.

If it still does not work, it is most likely that your PC is missing or not updated with some program necessary for the game, such as Python 3.0, etc. Something you should notice because a message always appears from the window itself mentioning this.

I see the Being-A-Wife.CW but not the I see the Being-A-Wife.CW.exe. I downloaded the latest version of Python 3.13.3 as you stated. Will see if this works. I appreciate your helping with this. It is working

I heard the original was better than this didn't get the chance to play. So was it?
"Better" is subjective, requiring an opinionated answer. Here are some differences:
  • The story was further along, which makes sense given the reboot.
  • The original title was "Christine Watson". The new title of "Being A Wife" is because Baap intended the game to be a faster-paced alternative to the game "A Wife And Mother".
  • There was a prologue, most of which is included in the reboot. The current model for Karel is based on the prologue. Her appearance was drastically changed for parts 1 and 2. Most fans preferred the prologue model.
  • Part 1 started about a week into Christine's story, which confused players as the prologue was considered unofficial yet explained quite a few character decisions.
  • Goro was intentionally quite ugly, almost repulsive. Most of his character traits, aside from his appearance, have been kept.
  • Even though there is less story overall in the reboot, Goro and Christine are further along than they were before the reboot, especially with version v1.160.
  • Adi and Mia had sex in the dark in the living room during the night of the power outage, and Mia hints at more sex with Adi further in the story. Christine was unaware that Adi and Mia had sex, even though she was in the living room.
  • Karel's (adopted? Stepson?) son was far more abusive, borderline psychotic, in the original.
  • Goro's friend didn't make any moves on Mia. He was the wingman to distract Christine's husband.
  • Mia was starting to do sexual things with her father. I can't remember for sure, but I recall it got as far as either a HJ or BJ, and certainly sleeping topless together in her bed after dad came home drunk.
  • Daniel, the father's coworker, was the first person to have penetrative sex with Christine. He had to drug both her and hubby at a party.
  • The husband was getting sexually involved with his boss's wife, but that was just before the reboot and I can't remember all the details. For instance, I don't recall how long he had been having an affair, whether it was recent or going on since the game's beginning.
There are other differences between "Christine Watson" and "Being A Wife." Overall, I miss some story beats of the original, such as Mia and Adi having sex, but I do not think one version is "better" than the other, and I won't have an informed opinion until "Being A Wife" catches up to "Christine Watson". Like I said, your question requires an opinionated answer, and those are my thoughts.

Does anyone have the most recent updated file of christine watson before it got reworked? If so can you share it.
Damn, I wish. I had those files, but forgot to back them up when I reset my computer last month. I regret not keeping them. Maybe someone else has them.

Adhdclassic I am not on the development team, so don't have any insider info about what's coming next in the reboot. In the original, the family goes to John's boss's mansion for a party. I don't remember the names of the boss, his wife, or their son. The son was a spoiled rich kid. What I can tell is that I helped rework the English of parts 1 and 2. During the English editing, Mia asks the son where the bathroom is, and he replied: "On the left." When I was conferring with baap36885 to ensure my clean-up maintained his intentions, the son's answer had no further meaning.

However, I thought there was something I could add to give the character some personality, so I made him a movie geek. He wasn't geeky or nerdy, just a fan. To that end, when Mia later asked him to refill her drink, I made him say: "By your command." (Battlestar Galactica), because "On your left" came from Captain America.

I have zero knowledge if the boss, his wife, the son, or the mansion scenes will exist in the reboot. I just thought I'd add a bit of trivia from "Christine Watson."

My own two cents on the game:-

I find the conversations that Christine has with Goro/Karel to be written in a non native English speaker way, that's what they think would be said to encourage cheating.

The mathematical explanation by Karel and Goro's real man explanation to me as a native English speaker are very strange ways to influence someone.

At times during the game things happen unrealistically, yes I know it's a game but still.

Christine's interaction with Tobey for one, promising him she will consider a relationship with him for passing a test and coming top.

She's been a maths teacher for five minutes and forgets she's married with two kids lol.

More to come I think.

CURIOUS_1976 You bring up an interesting point. When I was editing parts 1 and 2, I often struggled converting the non-native English into native English because I wasn't sure what Baap meant, even after asking him about dialogue. If you play the older version and the English seems incorrect or off, that is why. I did my best, but some things I didn't change, as I didn't know how to change them.

Whoever is creating the English for the reboot must be able to speak more than one language, making the reboot easier to understand.

Personally, I like "Christine Watson" better at this stage. I would like the author to continue both versions of the games.

Hi thanks for all the info, also is there any mia scene with Goro or his friends in original, or mia scenes are just with her father and her friends only in original? Because in the reboot, Goro is interacting with Mia as well in some scenes so i was wondering if in original he ever had sexual scenes with Mia?

I played the old one, they both have their good and bad. Didn't get the black kid scenario. Though that bathroom sex scene was wild in the original. Felt like Goros sex scene was its replacement.

Goro and Christine share scenes in the original and the reboot.

Goro's friend didn't do anything other than distract John.

Mia had scenes with Karel's son, scenes with John, and scenes with Karel's son and Christine. None of which got much farther than HJs, BJs, and kissing.

Mia's only sex scene, and I mean full sex, was with Adi.

No kidding. I couldn't figure out what was next for Daniel, John, and Christine after the bathroom sex. John and Christine knew they were drugged, so that would have been difficult to continue, possibly impossible. The reboot handled that much better, even though the scenario was different.

I agree with Karel's son. I hated him because he was a psychopath. He was evil in the original. I did his scenes but didn't save them as my main path.
