I don't think this is being remade from what I read. The intro was redone, & it seems like they plan to splice that on with everything else in the next update in late May.Ah, the good ol' "let's scrap everything and remake it from the beginning" shtick! Was anticipating it. Tis about time.

So between light and dark versions are only difference is the mc? So in both versions everything is the same or I need to play both versions for different content

It's the same. No difference. It's just cosmetics. But in terms of workload for the dev, it doubles the render he has to generate since he need a render for white male, and a render for black male for the same scene.
It's retarded. Pick one MC and move on.

Not quite. Only for the scenes in which the MC is visible. Still a shitload of extra work, but "double" is overstating a bit.

7 months..... and the intro gets redone. I guess the dev is only dedicating about 10 minutes a day to this.
this devs starts tweakin the moment they have to make some easy games and take 7 months to make a intro when no one asked for it ♂
Its frustrating, but there are a few of my favorites where starting over actually greatly improved the product and the dev then kept on going. They were brand new at it at the start, learned a lot, and then realized that they could now do a much better job from what they had.Ah, remake, the cancer of porn games
More often of course, its a sign that the game might be dying. And the ones that got better were almost always ones where the dev was making little to no money and was doing it more for fun and passion to share.
Yeah, between this being a nothing 'update' that was supposed to be released in March. And now the next update (that's totally going to come out in May) is 'between five hundred and a thousand renders', my guess is Sandman hasn't done a whole lot of work on this. If I were to be even more pessimistic, I'd guess that his partner (who left the project) may have been the one pushing things along.

I have no problem with a game being remade. It seems more often than not just an opportunity to do so, because the developer is struggling to progress or as a means to exploit the audience.
