That Scott Wilson dude, Jesus. Why does he think it takes 20-25 years for Nintendo to makes games?
Gotta respect people like Damien! People like that who aren't afraid to go into the lions den and point out the facts always get my respect. But yeah, Newman making excuses and pretending like the best he can do is just make random illustrations while he rakes in over $1,000 a month is pathetic. If I was in his position and just needing a coder, I'd keep working on the actual game. Write/draw/animate all the scenes and keep moving forward until I found a partner to finish the game.
But hey, what do I know? I'm just a pleb.
I dunno, either he just sucks at putting his thoughts in words, or he doesn't understand how the gaming industry works.
Apparently he ended up banning him for telling those truths and Scott, as always, kissing his ass.

The bigger question is how the FUCK could a game's development even last 20 to 25 years, if that were the case, forget PS2, we wouldn't even be out of the NES era. Either Scott is actually a child who stumbled on the wrong side of the internet given the thoughtless behavior, or I was right and the supporters got so old they have kids and forgot to change passwords. In any case this doesn't seem like someone a normal adult with 2 braincells could come up with as an excuse. Do hope Damien takes up the challenge and even if with AI he goes and makes a game for free, that'd be nice.

I dont think its fair to compare a patreon artist to one of the biggest movie maker studio ever... buuuut if we compare it to other patreon artists who released like 12 updates in those same 4 years... yea this is totally a scam at this point.
