Loved the new update (Chapter 9 Patreon release)! I feel a bit sad for Kim... specifically would have been nice if she had a chance to date Michael before or after he broke up with Vicky... but that might have complicated things for him and Emma... that said, as unrealistic as it might be, I wouldn't be opposed to exploring a poly/throuple relationship with Kim at some point with Michael and Emma. I agree with most of what you mentioned... as sad as it would make me personally, I can see a scenario where Nina's words foreshadow what happens to Emma and Michael. As long as it wasn't a bitter breakup and they remained even better friends, then I can sign off on that ending if we don't get my wish that Michael and Emma are engaged by the time they graduate.
