Is this the only error you've encountered? I can either fix just this one or re-port the whole game using an older version of Ren'Py, which will likely eliminate errors like this — but there's a high chance it will break saves.

Yes, because this is the error I encountered. It prevented me from progressing through the game.

OK, I admit I'm a dumbass. HOW do I pick up the wire at the warehouse? I possessed the hobo, panhandled for money, saw the conversation at the warehouse, spent the night on the bench, I went to the warehouse in the morning. The boxes with the wire highlight, I get the dialog... but nothing else happens. It doesn't go into inventory.

HOW do I pick up the wire at the warehouse?

If I remember correctly, you'll have to first check the drain at the location where you beg for money to spot the keys. You'll get something like "I need something to reach those keys", and after that you should be able to pickup the wire from the warehouse.

If that doesn't work, let me know, and I'll check again in-game, because it has been a while since I played this game

Thank you, I'll give that a try!

Had to panhandle a couple of times to get the Devil, then she pointed out the keys in drain. THEN I could get the wire.

I do love the renders but won't play as i do not like that you are really not playing as the MC but playing as the MC in other peoples bodies. Hope the dev makes another game without that as the renders and animations are good.
