Tried a clean install no mod no gallery mod still i get all the pictures ok its just the replay scenes not working (cleared AppData folders) so it is certainly not because of that plus what do you mean play the game properly i used no cheats whatsoever i played it as is.
The new game is going to be a prequel that takes place long before the events of this one.
Perhaps, but the wording shouldn't be that confusing. On the main menu, "Gallery" refers to the Image Gallery, and "Replays", unsurprisingly, refers to the Replay Gallery. In a coming release, observant players will even notice a new main menu entry: "Stories". One can only guess what kind of gallery that might be.

eh, I don't play this genre for a fap so I can live with it (who does anyway), but it takes away from the immersion that I'm generally used to in AVNs. So I'm somewhere in the middle I'd say.
It wouldn't really. It would make oral sex scenes a bit weird, but other than that it wouldn't change anything for me as long as it seems natural. TV and movies (that don't want an NC-17 rating) always make sex scenes weird by having them under blankets and or having the couple get dressed again before they cuddle in bed.
Maybe it would help if I add context. There is a major international push against the more explicit adult content out there right now. While my work absolutely qualifies as literary/artistic in most places, that isn't a guarantee. Turning the volume down on the explicit side of things would ensure I don't join the trash pile of banned content just on the basis of existing.
I know the context (sadly), so the "poll" wasn't really a surprise, I knew where it was coming from. It just pisses me off, and a lot of others too. The DLC option wouldn't really work on steam afaik, that would defeat the whole purpose, wouldn't it? Can't really have a pg rated main and a lewd dlc?
Oh you absolutely can. House Party did just that in order to get approval to be sold in Germany. Dev just has to be honest about what is contained in the products.

Contrary to what is being presented in those other threads, it's not just a Visa/MC issue. Both France and the UK just enacted national age verification laws that specifically target "pornography". As of now, it's not problematic, but could be soon. Germany did it several years ago, and now we can't sell our games in Germany without a rating from the government, and they won't do that rating if you show anything explicit.
I know another game that was planning on doing exactly this but and that dev announced that like 6 months agoAgain, my thought process is more along the lines of "Make both versions". Instead of doing D&D for $9.99, it goes for $8.99 with the less explicit version with the option to unlock the explicit version for 99 cents more. Ends up being the original price, and still VERY affordable. You don't LOSE any content in the less explicit version. It's just different camera angles
