So, how forced is the harem? Could you just romance one character throughout the whole game? Is everyone you meet oddly fine with sharing?

You start the game with Hannah as the MC's girlfriend. You can either stay monogamous with her or go for poly/harem, and the poly path is well done in terms of avoiding "magic dick" tropes or similar.

Yeah, the harem route is different in this. You start with just Hannah and (as far as I know) you finish with Hannah - regardless of the route. There is just a possibility of finishing with Hannah and also others.
Is there a CG pack for this? I find the red head appealing, but not enough to play this thing.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. The update concluded the story in the technical sense that the party returned home, but the events had almost no impact. Things just sort of... happened, with very little effort on the part of the characters and almost no input from us. Even more surprising to me is that there's almost no sexual content to pick up any of this slack, and the one scene that was included comes with a lot of baggage.

Yes, you can play the game to only be with Hannah. It is up to the player whether to have solo LI or harem. The game is complete. Development on the new game has begun, but it is a stand-alone prequel. It is not a "Season 2" or some other thing.
Not gonna write a review yet, not even close to being done, but this game is amazing. Wayyy different from most of the slop you see on this site. Animations and sound design is on point!
Well, if that was your intention with the bad ending fine but there was no pay off what so ever. It's gives the impression that it makes no different whether MC is good or bad because neither is satisfying.The evil ending was done with complete intent. To me, evil will never be satisfied. Evil is never fulfilled. Evil is always going to need more to fill that perceived void in them. Evil, as a concept, leaves a person feeling empty.
That is precisely what I wanted as a result of being evil in BTW. It's not supposed to be a fulfilling and happy ending. The fact that those on the evil branch feel they way they feel tells me that I achieved exactly what I wanted to achieve.
As for the good/true ending, I actually agree with you (and some others). It's something I'd already discussed internally with my team, before even the first beta test went out. At an absolute minimum, I'm hoping to look at adding some additional content over the next couple months while I start transitioning work over to Darkness & Desire. As an example of those plans/ideas, for those on the full harem path, you still need to knock up Kaylee
Any additional epilogue work that I do will be ENTIRELY unrelated to the core story of BTW. It will be PURELY relationship themed. And, most importantly, it will be 100% free. No new DLC. No "Paid ending" content like certain other games have done. Like I said in the post above about revenue, I'm not trying to get rich doing this. So, people will be able to look forward to those things. They will be added to the existing game as a patch, when it's time.
For the true ending, it would be good to explore on the ghost village, have an intimate moment with solo path or just the dynamics of the harem situation and some intimate scene with all of them. The end of the hero journey seems to be same like before the journey - MC marries GF. It should at least briefly touch what the impact the journey have on them in the real world, changes their perspective in life, the burden of having powers IRL etc
Also the epilogue should at least touch base on the impact of sparing or not sparing the main antagonist. As i said, the ending is too abrupt and gives the impression of a rushed ending. It may or may not be your intention. Just my honest opinion. Don;t have to agree or fight with me on this.
Ah that's good thanks, ever since I played bare witness and saw Hannah I wanted to play the game lol. I'm all for harems if you're not in a relationship first. Like I love redheads and bare witness was amazing for harem but I like it when it starts off like that from the beginning instead of sleeping around behind their backs, plus I like it when they're all involved. Seeing reviews I don't think I'd enjoy the harem path too much.

you are getting wrong information from somewhere. While it's true that you start off with a relationship in the game with Hannah, there is no "sleeping around behind their backs". In fact the whole "harem" thing is her idea, she encourages it. Everyone involved knows what's up, it's 100% above board and all are more than good with it.
I haven't played the last chapter yet but I gotta be honest. This story felt like it just finished establishing itself and was now going forward. But now it's completed?

Ah okey still it's not really for me if it starts off in a relationship, since I don't even think about it. I know it makes zero sense lol. Like I've played lancaster boarding house and even tho you can sleep with the redhead with your girlfriend and I like redheads, I still find it weird since I like to be completely loyal. Different if it starts out as single and then get into a relationship one by one. Probs not explaining it too good, but since I can choose and the girlfriend is a redhead, I'm happy lol.
I've played multiple harem games and only like 3 games I put into my replay category and all 3 pretty much start off with being single and stuff, would name but not sure the rules of naming too many other AVN

It is completed. But there are ties to the prequel to this that Drooskati is making next. They're just hints and nothing major.
