Well, and yes, regarding the sister, there is also a controversial point. Of course, besides her, there are a certain number of other girls in the game, but if she is not LI (which is normal for me), then in my opinion too much time is devoted to her in the game, that is, her story could be slightly shortened and more time could be devoted to MC and his development of relationships with the people around him.

This was basically my thoughts too playing this update, I started fast clicking because I honestly I felt like half the update was about Olivia's lesbian relationship which I have 0 interest in. It's good to know her motivations and reasons for her behavior but way too much time was spent on it. This VN wont have incest, I guess it's possible she is not actually his sister but either way, too much Olivia time. The main title screen is Olivia and the banner here is also Olivia, I hope it does not turn into a pseudo mc situation just to show her fucking in future update's.

Also getting bored of perfectly crafted Li's in every avn that all look the same. Where is the love for body type's that are not just big tits, ass and "flawless". I start to find them more like barbie dolls than women, basically no variety and all have gravity defying tits that look like they were bought and paid for.

I also thought the same as you, then I went and checked the top of the page. The game is tagged as 'female protagonist', 'male protagonist', and 'multiple protagonist'. So I would expect that we will spend a lot of time with Olivia's story as well as the MC's story. Based on the description in the OP, it sounds like a single protagonist game, as there is no mention of more than one protagonist... it's all about the male main character.

I'm not sure if it was always tagged that way, but I normally filter out multiple protagonist games in my searches. Either I missed adding it to my search that day, or it was added/fixed after I found it.

Maybe I'm just an outlier or more emotionally closed-off than most but I was put off with the amount of navel-gazing all these characters are doing. Just live your lives and stop being so emo! I don't envy the amount of unsolicited advice and nosy parkers in this dudes life. What's the point of having all these people saying ''You know I'm there for you if you need it" in situations they can't possibly help you. Might as well be thoughts and prayers.

Samantha in particular had a holier-than-thou attitude that was annoying. Like she's the world's arbiter of what is right and wrong. It's like she's there under the guise of offering support and being a soundboard but is actually just using that as a cover so she can moralize and get you to see things her way.

Maybe this writer is just more mature than me but I couldn't help but find it all the introspection boring and self-involved. I'm chasing gratification and I doubt I'll get it from learning to be the better man. Stop feeding me vegetables and let's get crazy already!!

The low number of choices makes it feel more like a story and less like a game, but that is my preference in a VN anyways. Getting to choose who to be with and how to progress the story is great, but having a coherent story is more important. Don't mind a good amount of setup before moving the story forward.

For a game with supposedly multiple independent paths for each love interest it sure reads like a kinetic novel.

People in the thread complain about lesbians, complain about no sex, but ignoring a much bigger problem.
There is no hint of a romantic relationship in the game at all. There is no spark between the MC and any of the girls, no chemistry and friction. I can't even identify the LIs. All interactions with the girls are boring dialogues, often about the MC's past.
Entire update is a series of meetings and boring conversations about MCs family problems . I can't name any bright moments except for the beating of Sasha's retarded father and Olivia's reconciliation with her mom.
In another project where Dream took inspiration, in Ch.2 the main plot arcs and the beginning of relationships with LIs were already laid out and you know: yeah, something gonna happen here. Meanwhile, in BT, girls act as NPCs for conversations, and that's it. I don't see any individuality in them, I don't see any bright, interesting characters.
This is the problem with the game: it's hard to maintain interest. I was much more positive about the pilot episode, but Ch. 2 became a cold shower.
Not throwing stones at Dream, but I can't say that I'm hyped for Ch. 3.
