No, sister has never been an LI. Sam was the girlfriend in the original and had a sex scene, but 'people' complained and bitched and moaned. So Dev took it out, as well as a scene between sister and her girlfriend (Sasha).

IMO, the renders are a lot better in the remake and the girls are even hotter (especially Sarah for me - went from a 'meh' to a 'wow'). And dev removed the forced girlfriend and the lesbian scene that people complained about.

But now we have complaints that there is no sex scene in the first 2 chapters.

Went back and read some of the old posts. Yikes. Can't believe people would actually throw around death threats (allegedly) because of a character in an AVN. I can understand some people not liking a forced GF when it isn't a harem game, but there's plenty of ways to write a break up between the 2 after the opening chapters that allows the player to choose a different LIs path.

The renders do look a lot better now too, so it's worth it in the end. I think anyways. Love a good slowburn if the writing is good.

I think this isn't the kind of game that in the third render the MC is already banging someone else mom. The history is good, well writen script, compeling characters. Not all VN's are about porn and maybe some people are complaining about it maybe those people should ignore it and play other games....or simply watch porn...without bitching around.

The inevitable has happened. At this point I'm convinced that I'm the only one who understands what these magnificent chicks are going through. I wrote in the last post that I have a hunch that MC's tattoos have a negative influence on them and that could be one reason why there is no sex scene so far. Well, when the message is deleted for reasons hard to understand, then the first thought that came to my mind was that I have to stand by these chicks, I understand them, that these tattoos have a very very bad influence. Don't bring up in your commentaries about tattoos that the MC won't get laid by the end. Furthermore, your message will be deleted. I'm just as confused as these chicks. There's no way you can't be emotionally marked by something like that. At least for a few seconds...

AVNs are porn games. It's adult entertainment. Also known as porn. The tits, ass, pussy, and all the fun things you can do with them is an expectation of the genre and people who are AVN fans often like this media because it's an effective fusion of storytelling, character relationships and porn content ... Developing in this genre comes with those expectations and the dev fully intends to exploit that, otherwise he wouldn't be making adult visual novels in the first place teasing close up shots of girls' tits and ass. An AVN without porn is like a king kong film without king kong. It just makes it underwhelming in it's genre.

I'm a pretty patient dude, and I do want to see where this VN goes. It is, after all, still only in Chapter 2. But because of the reworks, the story itself has stagnated and the story was pretty slow to begin with. Worse, the dev went and removed the only trace of romance between MC and any of the LIs introduced thus far, and removed the lewd scenes for questionable reasons. Thus the character relationships feel sterile and platonic making an already slow vn even more boring. It seems to me at least something should start budding by chapter 2. Something clearly establishing certain girls as love interests... but now they're just attractive NPCs. I mean the digital art is really good, but that by itself can only take the VN so far.

So the criticisms are 100% valid. All we can do from here on out and see where things go in the next chapter. I'm not ready to drop this one just yet. Hopefully Dream's decisions with the Ch2 rework aren't a sign of things to come. Otherwise it's bound to be another flaccid groaner much like the garbage from Dream's "dear mentor".

If you need more than 2K renders and 2 years to come up with a good plot to set sex scenes you're doing something wrong.
Look at games like Domino Beach, it's not super kinky, it tells the story of the MC and has sex scenes since its demo.
Some people may think verbal diarrhea is good story telling, but to me oververbose writers are boring most times.
You have to be a good writer to pull that up and we're not talking about Conrad McCarthy here.

Using this AVN is a very poor example as the Dev has already rewritten his story and doesn't seem to be sold on what direction he wants to go.

Bottomline is, sure, not every Dev is going to be a a-list writer but the ones that are good at storytelling and clearly have an idea on the direction of their stories should be allowed to tell said stories without porned up headcases spamming the threads with "Is there any sex yet?" questions. Pornhub is still free last I checked. Let people that want to enjoy these AVN's in it's entirety do so.

the story and characters are still being set up, it's more like a prologue

it's not like other games where people just fuck for no good reason

Does it ? He removed some scenes and changed the relationship between Sam and the main character. I fail to see how that improved the story. Now there's no romantic progress with any girls at all.

And as for the relationship, again, we're still setting up the story, like it or not, relationships will come

If you're trying to tell a story with emotional scenes that just happened to have sex

yes yes it is


It could be worse. I know some games that have had six updates, and you have no idea what the story is about

But it had a random BJ in it that made no sense, so nobody complained

And I can't even mention it as an example because my comment will be deleted

With all due respect, it sounds like you're not complaining about the story, you're just complaining about the lack of sex

Oh and sometimes a prologue can take a little longer if you have a lot of things to set up

So it doesn't feel like people resolve differences really quick

Or things that appear in the story later on don't feel like they came out of nowhere

The pornhub nay sayers are stupid when we're dealing with videogames because nobody is asking for porn, people want eye candy or good looking characters. Using that same argument in a forum dedicated to actual porn vns is worse, because you're telling to people to not expect porn in porn vns

My criticism wasn't about the update but about the game overall. The game has great renders and some characters are pretty good but overall the story is too verbose. Of course this is my opinion, other people may think this is one of the best vns out there and that's fine.

I haven't played it yet but I suspect I will be in the same boat as you. I loved the old version for the characters and the emotions and story good I don't care about the sex. Tho id be lying if I didn't say I want to see the sister have sex cause how hot she is and I have a thing for pierced nipples haha.

With that being said no idea yet if im going play this or wait for the next update to play it yet .
