how is rebuild version different and is it complete at all? Is version 0.09.2.03 complete? what is best to start playing?

No it isn't complete, it's still way behind the other version, it's just been reworked. Can't remember but think it's only got a couple of days done so far.

I'm looking to collect in this comment factual info about this project that's missing from thread's 1st post. If you see a mistake, please point it out.
F1: The old v0.09 was Aleksey90's first attempt at recreating BB. It started in 2020 and was eventually abandoned in mid-2022 (at v0.09.2.03, to be exact) because, assuming good-will, the dev wanted to remake BB at a much deeper level on all fronts (inc. slightly adjusted 3D models of main characters, better visuals, gameplay and screenplay, etc.). Everyone knows how good-intentions work in this landscape so make of that what you will.
F2: The old v0.09 contains mostly images rendered by Aleksey90 (or maybe even exclusively, I couldn't verify ALL renders). Generally available 3D assets used in the original BB are reused but the work to recreate & adjust the 3D spaces + render everything anew is remarkable. The old v0.09 release looks well trimmed & organized internally and generally says (at least semi-)pro dev who cares about his craft. It doesn't look abandoned because it was a hacky mess.
F3: The old v0.09 is NOT a Ren'Py carbon-copy remake of the original BB. It strays from the original in various ways, some small (e.g. small visual changes, some additions/changes to "classic" scenes), some significant (e.g. completely new scenes with completely new renders, with no equivalent in the original).
F4: The old v0.09 has been abandoned in favor of a new game variant called Rebuild which started to be released in 2023. The Rebuild is an even deeper remake of BB than the old v0.09 was. Improvements are apparent in general gameplay and 3D render quality (w/ improved 3D models, inc. for the main characters). The Rebuild version strays even more from original BB's screenplay/scenes, adding some exciting variety to what is already known to generally happen. There are also completely new scenes.
As of Rebuild v0.02 (Aug-2023) it's not yet known where the new screenplay will go and how close it will follow the original BB because v0.02 only covers the first in-game week (~6 days). All that's known is Rebuild looks and feels like a significant upgrade across the board. It's still TBD if it'll be better in terms of kinkiness/perviness, speed of delivery, etc.
F5: This project is unrelated to other BB-derived projects. The only thing it has in common with other projects is they all started using a general screenplay & 3D assets very similar (or identical) to those from the original. However, Aleksey90 does his own renders and he seems very committed to introduce major changes (vs. the original BB) on all fronts: visually, gameplay & screenplay (both by changing how scenes from the original BB go and by changing major events, etc.).

Q20231013: Is there some assessment about how much of original BB's screenplay was covered by v0.09.2.03 of Another Story's abandoned pre-Rebuild variant?
I know Another Story was not quite a carbon-copy of the original BB but it wasn't wildly different either and I would like to get some idea about how far along the way of the original screenplay it got, before it was abandoned.

Odd that you think that, when the supporters on patreon are going down and people are voicing complaints here there's obviously no correlation after all no one on an adult game fan site would possibly support a game on patreon that's just madness, must be all the freeloaders complaining here and the Patreon drop is down to the economy
I see, supporters leaving patreon first and then complaining here because they don't have access there anymore to post complaints.
