Unpack the files from the cheat mod in the 'game' subdirectory in your game directory, then read the guide in the cheat mod post.
Your save files are stored on your hard drive, as well. Just download 08. and load your save game from there.

To be honest ... both. There are constantly conflicts with more death than we have seen here so far, but most of the time it does not affect us or happens ins some african country we could not find on the map anyway, so we don't really care. This one affects our way of life and that's why we care. We want to get back to normal. As far as war is far away, we don't have to think about it and can follow our very mundane interests. Yes, it would be great if all conflicts (not just this one) ended.
