It's been exactly 5 years (since this thread was created), and it's v0.07.00.
It's kind of insane.

Yes and no? It's kind've hard to say.

No, we are not at the point where the original game ended yet.

However, it's definitely in remake territory. While there's definitely remakes of the original games content in game and to come I'm sure, there's also some brand new content that has no equivalent in the original game as well. The early game is much more involved in this version, progress is being made before Eric becomes more of a player in Chapter 2. There's new characters (The lawyer, Mia) and some unique stuff Max can do that wasn't in the original game.

I would wait until Chapter 1 is actually finished before giving it a go though. Due to things constantly changing as a Chapter develops, save files will not be compatible with each update until Chapter 1 is complete. Hopefully that is the next update but we'll see what happens.

You are not using the original archive .Your archive is RenPy 8.2.0.24012702, but the build used version RenPy 8.3.2.

Played thru V6, V7 comes out, and saves aren't compatible with it, forcing you start again. Kinda frustrating...I mean I get it things change, but making old saves not work...sucky
