I don't mind the release of CH1 being in July.
That means after that CH2 starts and afaik Kira will be introduced aka the game is getting good.

Was Kira confirmed? I saw a (seemingly official) title screen shot wher the lawyer and that guy-I'll-have-watch-the-toilet were present, but not Kira.

Long answer is NO; Kira will join at some point in Chapter 2 according to the information we have been given. We are also supposed to have Kira's daughter in the game at some future time.

Couldn't find the exact confirmation from Aleksey but the consensus is that she'll arrive in CH2.
